Samurai champloo and Cowboy bebop

I think both of these shows have very unigue music to them...bebop with the jazz and champloo with hip hop music....

I'd have to agree, I speically found the metal ep of cowboy bebop entertaining. But the music over all in cowboy bebop was excellent, I'm even listening to most of the soundtrack on a daily bases. The music fro samurai champloo was ok, I'm not into that sort of music, but it the music itself wasn't bad.

Although I can say this: I enjoyed the change from a lot of how the anime music is, there are very few shows where I've bothered with the OSTs, apart from those two it's only last exile, beck and Otogizoushi I've bothered listenign to the soundtracks too. Not a great fan of soundtracks overall actually. Only when it's something special about them, like for instance the blues brothers one.

Weird? Do you mean that in a good way or a bad way? I love the music in both Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, most especially Cowboy Bebop. One cannot deny the greatness of Tank!

Both have great music. In fact I have every single Samurai Champloo soundtrack. Great to listen to the tranquil songs while reading manga.

I love the music from both series. I have both soundtracks of Samurai Champloo and I'd like to find the soundtracks of Bebop. I'm glad to be able to listen to the songs on youtube though. I had recently bought the 2nd Champloo soundtrack and I loved the Fly song & The Updater!!!

I think the soundtracks are a part of what made these two series stand out, both are very good in their own right, but a unique style for the music helps the series stick in your mind. Especially for such short series, it was a good move that keeps the anime in the fans mind.

Are you kidding?!! These two soundtracks are some of my favorite anime OST's ever. I guess I could understand you thinking Samurai Champloo's soundtrack is weird because I've seen a lot of anime fans that really don't like Hip Hop. But I think these two animes have amazing music!!
