Pink Floyd, the White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age, Louis XIV, Turbonegro, Gorillaz, Korn, SOAD, Ramones, Green Day, Dropkick Murphys (BOSTON REPRESENT!!!), Robby Roadsteamer (my friend's band; sings "I'm Sorry Your Cat Has Ass Cancer" [www.robbyroadsteamer.com]), Nine Inch Nails, the Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, Radiohead, Slipknot, and Beck
Also, I must say this: Nine Inch Nails: "With Teeth": Awesome album. Reminds me a lot of the work of Yoko Kanno (Stand Alone Complex). And I know it's not a "concept" album per say; but I know there's a theme to it: possibly addiction and overcoming it. So stop saying Trent sold out!!! I like Rise Against, Sum 41, and a band called Machinae Supremacy. Machinae Supremacy is very underground, so if you feel like checking them out, go to www.machinaesupremacy.com. I'd suggest you download Hero, Missing Link, Soundtrack to the Rebellion, and The Great Gianna Sisters.

I'm not really a fan of loud rock music. I'm more of a poppish rock. I like The All-American Rejects, The Click Five, Fall Out Boy, Sum 41, Simple Plan, Last Years Hero, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, Bowling For Soup, Good Charlotte, The Starting Line, and Sense Fail. :3

Both albums are excellent. Their style has often been called "audio scenery." |
