Lemme name one very popular one right now: Melt Banana. I do like that perfect hair show. eX-GIRL is another favorite of mine. Boom Boom Satellites, Acidman, PE'Z, The Back Horn, Polysics, GO!GO!7188, Tsu Shi Ma Mi Re I prefer the girls over the guys for the most part though.

Sorry to break it to you.......Acidman and polysics have big album deals now. they can be considered indie still but they are definitely mainstream.
