A couple months ago, Steve Jobs, co-founder of Apple, made a blog statement about making a stand against DRM. So far he's done sweet fanny adams about it. The say no movement, which I'm aparently a member of despit enot bothering with their stupid and pointless boycotts, has issued an open letter demanding he back up his boasts. Anyone wanting to sign it can do so at http://www.defectivebydesign.org/actions/open_letter/steve_jobs. I'd suggest anyone that values freedom of expression and the ability to play mp3s on any platform sign it.

Oh,. and seriously, do not try visiting any of the links advertised on their, aprticularly badvista, if you're easily brainwashed. The FSF are huge fans of smear campaigns and don't mind exaggerating the truth if it'll mean forcing people to use an OS they don't understand just because it's free. Just like evryone else, then...

WTF!!??
This thisng gets me mad, but I signed it anyways. Why would they exagerate the truth to an extent of brainwashing, dont they know that most of us are smart enought to know the diference. They're dumb if they dont.

Why? Because the FSF are a bunch of overzealous fascists led by a nutase. Seriously. I've ehard him talk about free beer before. Urgh.

But yeah, they have some good ideas, but they take it too far. They're the software world's equivalent of anarcho-commu-nazionalsozialist-stalanists.

Hey, at least their Ideas...sometimes go somewhere. Let them talk B.S. but unless they dont back it up its B.S

Plus, your right, I just plainly dont like em because of that. We might as well go back to CD players and Old school TV.

The FSF are anti-DRM...

But yeah, I mean they're responsible for linux OS's. And the self-propogating cancer that is the GPL. They have some good ideas, they just have a very fascist approach to it.

Compare the BSD license and acompanying philosophy. Having the right to do whatever you like with the source code including using it in proprietary work = very good.

We should all just use version 0.02 just to see how they like it!.(hahahaha!)
Althothat would mean Crack to us....

Aratos

v0.02 of the GPL? I'll stick to my own BSD-variant license.

It was a joke.....Being the primitive version...Hahahaha?

Or we can just take the penguin ransom and ask them to stop all the B.S.
