Do you Karaoke?

Last night I went to a karaoke place with my girlfriend and two of my co-workers. We all had a blast together. The place we went to is called Max Karaoke and they claim to have 13,000 American songs which is "the most in the USA" in addition to their thousands of Nihongo songs (it's located within a Japanese business plaza). Now I don't know if this is true or not, but compared to a different karaoke hut I've been to, they indeed had many more songs by a great diversity of artists, even contemporary ones.

Now I'd like to know who else has been to a karaoke place (think of the movie Lost in Translation). How often do you go? Do you have a go-to song? Are you a show-stopper? Do you sing J-Pop? K-pop?

I was doing kareoke all the way to the ANime Expo last year...I did it at my party and I do it just for fun!!!
I have a Japanese Restauran in front of my house with a kareoke bar..but I've never gone. I will tho...one day.

there are two or three korean owned places out here, so they have j-pop, k-pop, and english music lol but the remote is in korean, so if you don't know any korean... umm.. i think the waitresses will help you lol
but they're really cool. we've only done one korean song since we've been going (for about a year or so now), because none of us can read hangul. but we do tons of japanese and english songs. always a blast~
