new album was just recently released in like 5 - 6 different methods

haven't picked it up yet, tho the idea of getting it as 2dvds with a hardcover book seems interesting.

are you talking about "Rosenrot" because you said album or "Volkerball" because you said 2dvds and a hardcover book?

that song is pretty old so i don't think there will be a video for it, no matter how much i want one to be one. plus the lyrics for the song are pretty disturbing and not right for mainstream.

My favourite song would have to be Du Riescht So Gut but my favourite album would be Sensucht.
I saw them in concert a couple of years back and they were amazing. They pull out all the stops :).

For those of you you who listen to Rammstein, do you know the translations to the lyrics that enter your ears? Well upon learning them, and listening to the songs: Engel, Du Hast, and Tier, I wish to say Rammstien's becoming a favorite of mine. I enjoy the scenarios my mind's created upon hearing these songs.

Some of the songs don't even need translations to understand them. It's great! :3 It seems so rare to find a band or musician that can paint such wonderful imagery with their music alone these days.

I don't bother with translations all the time (I'm lazy...). I can understand bits of what they're saying though. Just bits. X|

Yeah...even if that imagery is related to the stories you created...

Maybe she studied the language in school.

Maybe she studied the language in school.

Then that's a different story...

I fail to see what the story is. We're discussing a band, not making assumptions about Jaku's heritage.

Yes... Because the way I see it. If you haven't studied German, the only way you can understand the lyrics is if you read the translation.

As I said to PururinEleven, that's a different story...but you're the lucky one....
