Yeah, I love the Orphen series. I saw the Orphen: Revenge series and then read the first 2 volumes of the manga. I've been meaning to watch the first series for a long time and never got around to doing it, so I finally am. It's great!

I popped Bubblegum Crisis :Tokyo 2040 into the DVD player again.
I wish that they'd make Final Fantasy animes based on the games themselves. I'm not necesarilly talking about prequels or sequels to the games but the actual story of some of their games. I say this because I don't play the games but have always taken notice of the character designs and art from the franchise.

Please Twins. I'm really enjoying it. Almost as much as Please Teacher but not quite. It's a whole different story with different central characters and relationship dynamics. I guess if you want to compare it to something, it would be most like Three's Company. But it has an anime twist.

A boy named Mike leaves the orphanage he grew up in and starts renting the house he believes he was born in. The only clue to his origin is a photograph he had with him when he was abandoned. It shows two little children, one of them being Mike himself, out in front of that house. The other child is a girl who Mike believes is his long-lost twin sister. Soon after he moves in, a news report of a UFO in the area (the connection back to Please Teacher) happens to capture his house in its footage. A few days later, two girls turn up on Mike's doorstep, each one claiming to be his twin sister. And each one of them has a copy of the same photograph. Since the girls are also orphans with nowhere else to go, Mike lets them stay in the house. But only until they can prove who is the twin and who is the stranger.

I just finished Gunslinger girls and started on GunXSword, so far I like it, gotta wait for the rest of the series to arrive, as I only saw the first episode, but it looks promising. Trigun is awesome, I am admittedly biased because it was my first series, but I love it. I suggest that if you like the anime, pick up the manga, it ahs several differences in the beginning and is pretty much a different story at the end.
