I also am a fan of AKFG of course and then I also like Pyscho-le-cemu... I spelled their name wrong, but you guys know what I mean. Listen to Jrock and Jpop at my site at www.hikaruhoshi.com

Even when Daisuke Asakura was composing his music and Akio Inoue was writting his lyrics, he even still then wasn't a band. @___@;

So yeah. Ging Nang > all. If only for Mineta being enough of a dick to slam himself in to the drumset while it's still being used by the drummer. XD

PS: OH MY GAWDSIES. Mukai wins at LIFE! He's so cool. <333333333

I've done some work with their label and interviewed them for MANGA Magazine #3 (current issue) and BECK vol #3. It was a written interview that I submitted through Sony Japan publicity in New York. I submitted the questions, and the band wrote back to me via e-mail.

Malice Mizer all the way!
PLus Anthem if anyone has ever heard of them, they did 2 songs in the Devilman OVA Light It Up and The Show Must Go On! They were an 80s heavy metal band so basically think of a Japanese Metallica, Iron Maiden or Anthrax

Iblis
04-01-2006, 10:17 AM
Anthem, rofl. I listened to them cause I thought maybe they'd be awesome like Sex Machineguns, but I was disappointed. Eizou Sakamoto's vocals aren't bad though. Some of his Animetal stuff is good. Anthem (or maybe it was just the one album I listened to - Dr. Heavy Metal or some ****) isn't for me.

Everyone knows DJ's don't count. They never move at shows. Kind of like drummers, but even worse.

And you would know this how? I've been to Bounce Connected where Taq played and he moved around QUITE A LOT. Also Armen Van buren, taka and dj Tiesto all move around.....how can you NOT move around? are you expecting them to do a dance for you? it's not about what they do at shows it's about how the music pumps you up and dancing to it.
Dj's DO count because they ARE music artists.
As for Dj's in the way you are speaking. Most likely they are MIXERS who scratch and mix the music while the rappers are .....well, rapping. Des-row for example. They play guitar and also have a sound mixer there. Please don't tell me that you think dj's don't count when they are actually an imperative part of the music world.

Iblis

i am a big fan of keiji haino, boredoms, boris and kaoru abe.

thus, i am either highly evolved, or suffering from psychological distress.

i'm also heavily down with cowpers, penpals, shonen knife and the pillows, if that makes a difference.

Does no one else like Shonen Knife? I think i saw them mentioned once on this thread. They are so much fun in concert. How can anyone not like a band that can sing punk songs about kitty cats, sushi bars and rubber bands? I can't wait for they're new album...next week *woo hoo!*

Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Tackey and Tsubasa, Do As Infinity, Every Little Thing, Orange Range, Snorkel (they sing Nami Kaze Satellite! ^^), Captain Stridum, Analog Fish, Siam Shade (their song 1/3 True Feelings is cool), and of course L'Arc En~Ciel. :D

Is it possible for you to put all of your thoughts in one post, adichappo? Or are they too dynamic?! Do they come to you, rapid fire, so that all you can do is keep clicking the 'reply' button? Or is the edit button just invisible to you?

Sex Machineguns, SMAP, B'z, Porno Graffitti and Imitation PoPs Uchuu Sentai NOIZ are my favorite things.
After I met SMAP, I met the rest of the Johnny's crowd, so um... I'm a pretty big Johnny's fan now. V6, TOKIO and Kanjani8 are my favorite JE groups besides SMAP. KAT-TUN, Tackey & Tsubasa, Arashi and NEWS are totally NO.

I'm going to be seeing SMAP and TOKIO in concert hopefully around August or September, and if I can catch KJ8 and V6 as well this will be the greatest trip ever.

Siam Shade and L'arc~en~Ciel for the win, with TM Revolution coming in close behind. I've loved Shonen Knife since college (to give you an idea of how long ago that was, Let's Knife was brand new), as well as Pizzicato Five.

Also, I like Yellow Generation, Nana Kitade, Namie Amuro, Hikari Utada, Soulhead...more than I can even name.
