View Full Version : 12 Year Old Girl Gets Liposuction

I just saw this while watching Entertainment news. A 12 year old girl got liposuction because she was morbidly obese. Around 220 pounds. Wow, people are really getting lazy. She couldn't just exercise and eat healthy? Go outside and play.

Liposuction is already dangerous, but especially dangerous for people under 18.

Americans like the easy (and often dangerous) way out of things. Nobody likes to lift weights, run a couple miles on the mill, and eat right. No they rather have a giant vaccum shoved in em'; but what's sad is that your body doesn't benefit from it...
The girl's mother should be thrown in jail for making her daughter get that fat. That's child abuse..

I totally agree. And so does Bonno and Dr. Phil. Especially Bonno, he's good looking.

I wish I saw more people outside getting excersise and fresh air. Walking, running, biking, blading, I don't care. As long as it's not doing drugs, it's okay.

Why doesn't this surprise me?

Oh yeah, becasue I watched a 15-year-old getting breast implants live on TV. Nothing about children and surgery surprises me after that.

Ridiculous.

That's why American society is the way it is now. Never wanna actually work for something.

WHat makes you think the breast-implant girl was American? I'm pretty sure it was a british show.

Do you really want me to answer that? I don't feel like typing 3 paragraphs explaining why.

But America's not the only lazy country.

Meh. Suppose you weren't to know I only have terrestrial TV.

Which is I real pain, I can tell you. All that live surgery I'm missing out on. I've got a minor obsession with internal organs for some reason.

I know eh? How 'bout those Antarticans? I don't see any of them getting excercise. A wag of the finger to the Antarticans. Shame.

Except that technology impaired (sp?) can't be lazy. I'm one of those people:p
Why don't people like to work out? You feel a lot better afterwards, better than what it feels like to get liposuction, I bet.

Why would someone let their 12 year old get lipo? Why not just feed her fruits and vegetables instead of chips and candy like a good parent should?

question is, what did they do with all that excess fat? hmm...

coming to a Mickey D's near you....all-natural lipo fries!

yeah, that was sick, but so is most of what is known as the "traditional" American diet.

maybe the mom was too lazy to cook her own food.

Sold it to the army. Stupid question.

No, really. Fat is one of the big ingrediants in a number of different explosives. A bit like napalm is basically jsut petrol and polystyrene.

Yeah. It's amazing what you can make out of house-hold chemicals.

Of course I cna't ctually talk about it, because I got shouted at by a mod last time, but yeah. It's bg stuff.

Because they were stupid. They should've made her watch "Lazy Town."

The next thing we'll hear is a three year old wanting liposuction... what's up with people these days... they cut their stomachs and have the fat sucked out of them instead of getting up and going.

I don't agree that liposuction is the way, but not all people can lose weight by exercise and lifestyle changes. Some my have hormonal/thyroid problem for the reason why they can't lose weight.

But of course, it's always an American taking the easy way *scuffs*

I have nothing against taking the easy way out (hey, I do it all the time. :p). But c'mon, 12?! Has the poor girl even hit puberty? There's no reason why her parents can't put her on Slim Fast, or even better send her to fat camp.

Or even better: waited until she had freaking FINISHED GROWING to start changing her natural form.

That's like giving implants to a 12 year old.

I think they should've gave her a diet to control her weight to keep her from gaining weight. Kinda sick that people are doing things this young. Is society that horrid?

SweetNymph, you caused me to have a clicking problem. XD

If they had waited until she finished growing she would've died. She was pretty obese and her health wasn't too good. But that doesn't mean the girl couldn't have cut down on the Mickey D's and walked around the block a few times. According to the report she didn't have any problems preventing her from losing weight normally.

So if she really wanted it to- diet and exercise would've worked for her.

I didn't say they should have waited to do something, just that they should have waited to do something that drastic.

Plastic surgery is dangerous enough, but for people who are still developing, the risks are even worse.

Oh! Of course. You're right.

But plastic surgery wasn't even an option in her case. The girl just needed to go outside and play. The problem is that they were all lazy. The parents for letting her eat whatever she wanted in the first place, and then not wanting to take the responibility to help her lose weight. And the girl for not even trying when she hated the sight of herself.

True. I just hope she does not die after all of this.

SweetNymph
12-07-2006, 10:13 PM
Ditto.

But the problem is that she's most likely going to need more plastic surgury for matainance later in life. She may even just get it for cosmetic reasons (nose job, implants, etc). Letting her get lipo that early in life without even TRYING healthier, more natural methods is sending a message that her appearance can be improved by surgery alone.

I sense a lot of self-esteem issues for her. And knowing what we know about her parents, their action will be to ignore it than to try and get her some professional help.

Does no one even consider the risks?!

No, of course not. All she cares about his having big titties so she can be some brainless boy's plaything and grow up to be a Playboy Playmate of the Month and spend all her porno-gotten money on matainance for her silicon body until she shrivels up into an old, wrinkled shell of a human since she has no substance beyond her appearance which isn't even natural!

F***ing Barbies.

Its all in how you are raised, in the end, its all the parents. *shrug*

Not necessarily true. Girls develop differently at different rates.

That's true. But at some point it stops being the parents' fault. A person has to take responsibility for themself. Even if they had a crooked start.

And sometimes good parents just have rotten kids. I know a girl who has the nicest parents, and they raised her as properly as imperfect people can...but she turned out to be a slut.
