Her second album, The Sweet Escape, is going to be released December 4th, 2006! It's been 2 years since her first one, which I loved, and so I have hoped for this one. Her first single, 'Wind it Up' has already been leaked onto the internet, not sure if it's been released for radio yet. But yeah, it's a pretty cool song. I can't link it obviously, but if you google hard enough you'll find it. It's a pretty good song, very unique, and original. :)
Not only that, but No Doubt is also releasing another album in late 2007! Double awesomeness for Stefani :)
So basically, 2007 seems to be a pretty good year in music so far, for me anyway. Sophmore Gwen Stefani and *****cat Dolls album. Britney Spears making a comeback after 4 years. Marilyn Manson also ready for a new one early in 2007. And of course, the Ali & Gipp album, forgot what it's going to be called. There's obviously tons more, but I forgot them. So yea, 2007=great!!!!!

But yeah, it's a pretty cool song.
I don't know because I'm not getting the same feeling as when I first heard "What are you waiting for". I guess it might grow on me.

The yoddling kind of annoyed me at first, but the song did grow on me.... except it didn't take long lol. I do still like 'What are you Waiting for', 'Rich Girl' and 'Hollaback Girl' better, but this comes 4th heh xD And the others are all tied at 5th

LOL.
I actually liked her more in the No Doubt band. Wait... it WAS Gwen Stefani right?
Anyways, I'll be looking for her songs on the radio (or listening to them in another way), and see if it's worth buying.

I like her wind it up song too, but the yodeling was weird.

I LOVE Harajuku Girls.. maybe it was the Japanese girls in the background? Anyway, Hollaback girl is good too.

I like Gwen Stefani/No Doubt a lot, but "Wind It Up", that song drove me nuts, especially the yodeling! My favorites from her/No Doubt are Hollaback Girl, Cool, Underneath It All (of which I'm listening to right now :p), Hella Good, Hey Baby and Don't Speak.

Not that hyped for the solo album but I'm hoping the new No Doubt album's gonna be good... I think alot of people don't like 'Wind It Up' because they don't get the yodelling. It's a tribute thing to the Sound of Music, so if you haven't seen that movie you probably won't get what it's about...

I heard that on the radio.
Its not even music; its headache-inducing noise. On top of they desecrated perfectly good music from one of my favorite movies.
With tributes like that who needs flamings?

I LOVE GWEN!!! She's can actually sing unlike those other posers out there. I mean, how many people can yodle?(sp?) I liked her better when she was with no doubt though. Her first album was WAY better. Anyone heard her song called "Running"? It's a song when she was with No Doubt. It's an easy listen and quite nice.

No Doubt is one of the most musically correct bands of our age; their drummer is great and they're not just 1,4,5 chords; and she uses her voice like an instrument, GO GWEN!
I CAN'T WAIT! though I don't think her solo stuff is as good as no doubt's stuff, but it sure is catchy. (i ain't no hollback girl, are you?)

Yea, I definetly liked her first solo album better  It's because she put way more effort into it, apparantally half the songs on the second album were cuts from the first. I still like it though, although so far there are only 2 songs that have made it on my ipod, whereas there are I think 8 from her first album

Yea I was watching one of her interviews and she was saying that she made some extra songs that she just couldn't leave in her computer. I really don't mind the 2nd one. I like the Sweet Escape song. It's so cool!
Lemme guess the two songs that are on your ipod. The Sweet Escape and Wind It Up?
