M10M! The solo project of the infamous Mana from Malice Mizer- the one who's responsable for who Gackt is today! XD What do you guys think of this solo project?

Also, those of you who bought the new "Lamentful Miss" single, what did you think of the new versions of "Perish" and "Forbidden"? Were any of you as suprised as I was by the terrible job this new studio did in mixing the single? Here's to hoping Mana doesn't go back there. >.>

What are some favorite songs you guys have and why? :D

I've only listened to a few Moi dix Mois songs and... I can't remember what they sound like but I'm pretty sure I like one if not all of them.
I've been hearing plenty of less than pleasant things about Lamentful Miss so I'm tempted to check it out myself...
Hmm.

^ Ah, yeah, The title track itself is alright, not the best of course, but the fact that this new studio Mana went to severely messed up all the mixing for all the songs really doesn't help its quality factor much, which is sad. : / The re-arrangement of "Forbidden" is really awesome, though, regardless of the screw ups. It even outshines "Lamentful Miss", imo.

If you get the single, let me know and I can tell you some presets to drastically improve the sound quality. XD

did one of the people from malice mizer die?

The drummer.

I have unfortunately been underwhelmed by MDM's latest releases (Beyond The Gate, LM). I really loved everything from Dialogue Symphonie to Pageant, but since I don't particularly enjoy Seth's voice, I don't like the more recent stuff.

There's always hope for something grand and new, I guess.

Saikai no Chi to Bara was for him; he drummed on Au revoir so it couldn't very well have been for him. And he died of a brain aneurysm.

@Iblis: I honestly didn't think BtG was too terribly bad. Mana said he rushed production on it anyway, and LM was just a mixing nightmare. I really just think Mana's run out of luck lately. XD

If you miss Juka though, he's reemerged for the first time in over a year this month as the vocalist for the new cd under the HIZAKI grace project. Sadly, he's just stuck himself in someone else's solo project, but I hear he's writing lyrics now, so that's a good sign. The only people I know who are talking about it are the people over at -Scape-. You can find the thread and some translated blog entries by Hizaki regarding Juka by clicking here (http://www.scapeforums.com/viewtopic.php?t=3801). ^.^

Their cd's also up for pre-order over at CDJ, too. ;D

I miss the combo of Juka and Mana's composition - he wasn't an incredible vocalist IMO. I'm going to give a listen to Hizaki's project as well just to check it out, though.

And yes... I've been a member of scape for some years. :D

XD It's a great place for info.

Yeah, it'll be interesting to see what happens with Juka now that he's working for someone else. I'm still debating whether or not I'll get the HIZAKI album since I'm *really* tight on cash at the moment. ;_;
