Why do you like manga/anime?

We all know what manga and anime we all love but why do we love them?
For me its the good story telling, its how the artist show the characters emotions and a lot of the times its just plain funny ^_^

I grew up on it, ditto with some of the emtions but also its quite diffrent with some of the anime example. gankusto and yami no mastuei

Yeah, a lot of anime's are also thought provoking and deep, I like those types a lot... I haven't heard of gankutso or yami no mastuei before

yami no mastuei, english name: that one is a overlooked shonen ai. buut
gankutso... gah I keep on mispelling that -_-; its also called the count of monte critso heres a picture of it

..yes the put that much detail in even little tea cups. its really worth a watch. =D not to mention the american voice over is pretty decent!

well, the main reason i like anime/manga is bc it helps me with my drawing ability.

i also love how the stories are portrayed. . . .it strikes me in awe every single time!

In general, I like anime and manga because of the long deep story lines with evolving characters.

I like manga because the manga-ka can always put so much emotion into each character and their facial expressions.

I love the stories! I think that's my main thing. Other than that, I love the way things are drawn. But it's always the story that keeps me reading and watching.

it opens a door into a world that you wish were real and it can help you get away from the life your livin if you have a tuff time/day... its a realse for me...

Yeah, it really gets you thinking. I usually daydream about being in some other world on an advernture. But I wouldn't give up my life here to forever live in some world that I've only read about or seen on the TV.

For me, anime is inspiration to draw, strength to get up in the morning, a reason to smile sometimes, an escape into myself, and a rite of acceptance into a part of this world.

Why? Cause it has a story. The characters resemble you or someone you know. The animation is nice, and it is just more interesting than the other stuff out there.

Thanks to the subbed anime I can read english faster and thanks to the manga I'm interested in books now.

I like anime for many different reasons. One is that I love the way the characters are drawn. Another is that the plots are really interesingand unique. Another reason is that anime and manga are really interesting to me. Those are the main reasons why I like it.

Well...put it this way, it's cartoons for adults (well most of them anyways). I find that most anime deals with more mature situations than western cartoons, plus they also like to include fantasy/magical elements into alot of them. I'm also attracted to the way most characters are designed and portrayed.
