Who like, loves this manga?! Because I do! My favorite character is Misha-san because.... well, yeah.:D also, i wish they would make an anime of it. i currently have all of the books including the fan books.

Wait there's an anime?? *pauses* do you guys live in Japan? Cause i am from the US, and there isn't an anime in English, so that sucks. I bought an anime, but it was in Japanese, and I couldn't see pics! >.< You guys are so lucky... I wish I could see the anime...

Sugar is actually an anime with drawings by Koge-Donbo, but it is kinda childish....hehe yeah, I really wish I could see the anime!!!

Pita Ten Rawks. I don't just mean a little bit. I mean R-A-W-K-S rawks. If my corner of the world had a Pita Ten fanclub, I'd be President (which is quite the coincidence, considering I have the honor of being president of the librarian's club at school and just having recommended Pita Ten as something to get....so now my school library has the first volume! *squeeeeee*) I've read the manga (loved it, but WHY did I have to die?!?!) I mean....*ninja stare* no spoilers. Also, I've seen the anime (fansub). Both are just overflowing with cuteness. I'm not sure why everybody loves Misha-san so much. (She is just a wee-bit overbearing at times.) Of course, I pledge my heart and first cosplay to the wonderfulness that is Shia. ^.^ F34R T3H CUt3!

they show it on the ANIMAX channel on cableTV in Mexico, have seen the whole series, but I love to see them over and over.
The opening song is so funny and catchy I find myself humming it at work *lol*

I recently started to read the manga, but I am reading it backwards, from vol.8 to the first one. I want to read the subtle differences between manga and anime and how different is the personality of all the characters.

Absolutely not. :) In my opinion, anime is anime. The world would be a better place if everybody could be free to like and watch what they like, not what's recommended for them... Of course, eveyone has their own tastes, and that should be respected. There's way too many awesome animes out there not to find at least a handful of favorites. Also, truly, I believe that ones like Pita Ten could fit the bill for mostly anybody's list, with all the different aspects of it and all. There. Motivational speaking. :)

a1) If anyone does want any know-abouts on the Shia issue (and doesn't care about spoilers), I'm your girl. Nyah is HAWT in human-ish form. Oh, and I'll be cosplaying later this month wearing those very pajamas that people obsess over so much, including myself. ^_^

a3) I have pondered the purpose of her cat ears since their surfacing, and never have I found a means to explain it. Besides, I didn't really like her character much....

I think i found what the name could mean, on one of the pages kotarou says his real name is "Pi"-guchi Ko-"ta""-rou, so you get Pita from than and Ten from Ten-chan. Thats the only thing that was mentioned about the meaning of the title, and that was on page 36.

I just typed in the meaning of pita-ten in google and i came across a comment on a site saying "Pita Ten; Pitari Tenshi, or in other words or meaning, 'Clinging Angel' =3 I like the part in the beginning when Misha flaps her wings." so that actually could be the meaning of the title

well, in the end, pita-ten was one of my favorite manga. i loved the ending, and i cry every time i read it. however, i hated the beginning. it felt like it was insulting my intelligence -_-

I brought the box set of Pita-Ten with 1-4 books. I was going to buy number 1 but when some random girl shouted *PITA-TEN! ooooooo* and then realised what she done i fund it so funny that i had to buy the box set if she liked it that much.

So yeah iv read number 1 and started number two and i think im in love! This manga is really great! im confused but still reading! what do you guys think?

anyway no affence but english dub is the crappest thing ever! tehy dub it wrong and it doesn't sounds right.
