I'm a big GitS fan :p truly amazing. It also got me into anime... I was ill one night and couldn't sleep so I turned on the TV and there it was... the last 25 minutes of GitS! I took advantage of my ill state and asked my mum to buy me the DVD out of pitty haha, and the rest as they say is history!

I've recently started buying stand alone complex too which is really fun to watch but my funds have run dry so im stuck at vol 4 !

GitS is seminal cyberpunk, I love it. I think I like GitS 2 even more though because I like hard boiled detective stories and it could be argued that it's even deeper philosophically. I haven't seen much of SAC but I like what I've seen.

Spike - I felt that the 2nd movie was deeper philosophically too sadly i;ve only had the chance to watch it once since I bought it so I don't fully understand it yet. When I think about that film, the main scene that I remember is the one with Batou and his dog in his aparment, theres just something about that scene that was in some way really emotional and stuff.. meh hard to explain :P but it was a really ncie scene anyways. The whole film seems to have this haze and it seems really dreamy and such, it's a great atmospheric anime

Ghost in the Shell is one of my all time favorites, I love it all. I know both movies, both TV series (pre-ordered 2nd Gig Volume 4 this week) and even have a Ghost in the Shell movie poster in my room. Yes I am really into GITS.

The first time I saw the Ghost in the Shell movie was in an actual theatre (it was an art house theatre, not exactly a high quality theatre but a theatre nonetheless) ten years ago and I have been a total addict ever since.

I do, but I really prefer fullmetal and naruto to Ghost in the Shell. I don't know why.

I love GitS, it's one of my favorite movies, and I love the anime I haven't missed an episode yet on [as]. But I think season 1 is my favorite, I liked the mystery of the laughing man.

GiTS is awesome!
The stories are indepth and well thought out. Its one of those series that just keeps getting better and better. 2nd Gig definatly is better than the first, but for those who haven't seen it yet I'd suggest you see the first season before watching 2nd Gig. It will help to have the fore knowledge of what happened with the Laughing Man and the simularities to the Individual 11. :D

I been watching ghost in a shell for a while now and I really enjoy the action and the story line after one episode and I was hook . With all the fighting and action I can`t stop watching it and the music is great too! NOW! is there anyone else out there who likes it too!?

The original movie is probably my single most favourite anime ever. I have all the SAC's in the deluxe editions that have come out in the U.S. I'm going to get the import of the GITS2:Innocence with the dub. I have several posters and wallscrolls. And several figurines.

i love g.i.t.s. ive gotten the osts but i just watch them on tv since i dont ave the money to throw around on dvds as i used to so i get manga if only i got the g.i.t.s. manga before it was out of print the 2nd time

The two seasons of GITS: Stand Alone Complex and 2nd Gig have all been shown on [adult swim] and have started over again last week. Last night's ep was the second episode.

BTW this whole sci-fi/babe stuff makes me think of Battle Angel Allita. I'm only reading the manga but I think it's great too!

Oh. Hm. Um. Ok Kusanagi is hot, and the art is awesome... but I just can't get into this series for some reason. No, I'm not saying it sucks, I know it's good but I just can't get into this series.

I really love Ghost in the Shell: Stand Along Complex. I feel that the second season was alot better then the first, but I still like them both pretty equally. The Animation, the characters, the plot, the music is really good, and the voice acting for both the english and japanese versions.

The paper cranes episode = tears in my eyes. That episode is really good. The last few episodes of 2nd Gig are some of my favorites and are really put together quite well. Now I just need to get the rest of the DVDs and I'll be happy.

Ohh, and I want to see Ghost in the Shell: The Movie and Ghost in the Shell: Inoccence too!!
