I shouldn't think so. I draw my comic/manga without manga studio, and untill it came everyone used photoshop.
I'd like to try it once my manga gets into the colourless stage, but I live in the U.K, even if I have anerican nationality, so I don't think I'd be able to spend the neccesary "dollars" when all I have are pounds for the full version if I become dependant during the trial.

No; there's other stuff out there. Photoshop for one and other ones for comics specifically though I forget the names.

Actually, I used Painter IX.5 until Manga Studio came around. There are also plenty who use openCanvas. Since not everyone can affort Photoshop.

Smith Micro bought out E-frontier. so do a search for For Manga Studio go to there sight and use the try or demo link to DL it.
