As the title says ^, I'd like to know what your Halloween costume might be. I know it's too early but I'm just curious. I'm sorry if this thread was already started and if it was then Mods, please destroy. So personally I'd go for an Alchemist suit or a dark cloak. Or anything that covers my face. I'd be embarassed if someone recognized me. There are some other ones but I can't think of any right now. I'm not actually going but I might if get a really nice costume. So anyway, what about you guys?

Well, my brother ordered Cloud's buster sword from FF and he thinks he can carry a sword (that isn't fake) around all the little children in their princess dresses and spider-man suits. As for me, I'm probably just gonna stay home and eat all the trick or treaters candy and watch scary movies or something. So Ichigosmiles will not be dressing up for Halloween.:(

Blue from Wolf's Rain. I think I might have planned to do it last year but my hair was long then. I should start working on that costume actually.
Ichigosmiles - Wait, he's getting a real sword? But the buster sword is freaking huge! I want Cloud's sword from Advent Children. It splits into 5 or 6 pieces. I'd probably never be able to lift it but I want it.

I may use my Takuto Kira costume if I go trick or treating. xD I want this year to be special because when I'm in college next year, I don't think I can ;_; I'm not embarrassed going trick or treating because people really can't tell how old I am xD.

I havent worn a costume since like Grade 5 (when I was freeza from DBZ ahaha) xD After that I just rushed out for candy and didnt care about halloween spirit. I probably wont even go this year unless one of my friends wanna go. But uh, If I had to wear a costume Itd probably be...Sasuke! :O Actually no, thats for cosplay, cant think of one for halloween, maybe Scream? I remember those were like everywhere a few years ago.
I dont get why people dress up as princesses or teddy bears for halloween though, isnt it supposed to be scary?

I never really got that either. Oh well. For Halloween I guess I'd dress up as an angel of Death with black wings and a scythe. I think I may actually do that this year when I have to escort my little sister around the neighborhood. The only problem with that is I don't know where to get a scythe. Eh he. :D

depends what you're looking to be.
zombies can be notoriously cheap.
shred some old clothes, discolor your skin, and slap on some gore.
vampires really only require fangs.
just takes some creative problem solving to cough up what you need.

I guess depending on how the costume is being made.
For commissions: These tend to be done over the internet so measurements and stuff may be wrong.
Acutally making it yourself: I think it would help to have someone who knows a thing or two about making clothes help you a little bit.
But it is possible to do it yourself.

I've looked on Ebay and, although I have found scythes, they're real. I don't think my parents would appreciate me walking through the neighborhood with a real scythe. 0-o However, I would be prepared if anyone tried to steal my stash of candy though. Watch out! :p

But if I did have a Sailor Saturn costume I would love to go around my friends neighborhood (I'll be spending halloween with her) and do that.

I'm still deciding on either his Yume Kazaguruma outfit or his Prism outfit.
I'm going to be really pink here. The wig might pose a challenge.
Eep.
I'm going to be a sheep.:D
I would wear my costume during the day, but I don't think I'll be going trick-or-treating.
Just because I don't go trick-or-treating doesn't mean people shouldn't go. It's fun, een when you're older. But I suppose there should be some age limit where it's just more fun to go parties dressed up than it is to walk from house to house.
And because hardly anyone ever comes to my house, I keep the candy. Yum.

If I had some money to burn, I think I'd dress up as The Thing(The creature from the 1982 remake.) I'd have a split shirt with a couple of eyes on stalks sticking out of my chest, big red barely formed claw hand gloves, have some spider leg prosthetics attached to my head, and have a barely formed wolf's head coming from one of my shoulders. On a less expensive and gruesome note, It might be interesting to do the invisible man thing. Trenchcoat, shirt, pants, gloves, boots, and be wearing sunglasses and a hat on a head covered in bandages.

Actually they do. I went to some anime conventions and they sell them there. Not only that, they sell it online too. They would cost about $100-$200 for 2 lenses (each eye) +$40 for each eye that needs toric. I got mine that was online from the UK. I already had a pair of the glowing pink w/red, "Selene" and "Negative" contacts.

This year, I'm going as Nekozawa Umehito from Ouran High School Host Club for the school day.
But later, at night, I'm going as Haruhi Suzumiya from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
The problem with wearing that costume is that people that aren't into anime and manga ALWAYS mistake you for a Sailor Moon.
I wore it to my church's Halloween party, and I heard comments directed towards others like "Hey, she's wearing that sailor suit thing! I haven't seen that show in a long time!"
Haruhi Suzumiya isn't even licensed(Well, no one's formally announced it yet) in the US... So I didn't really expect anyone to realize what I was. Still, even though I told people that I was from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya they STILL took me for a Sailor Moon clone. *sigh*
(My friends are going to flip out when they see me wearing a skirt. I don't have any pairs of skirts in my closet except for my Haruhi cosplay, and I detest the things. But this is an exception =D)

Turns out my costume inadvertantly changed.
I'm a Dead Kitty. ^^

I'm dressing as a slave girl this year.
my husband will be Neo
and my kids are going as the Pink ranger, an american idol contestant and Lightning McQueen.
I'm still feeling a little nervous about going out in public in my costume though, I'll probably need a Xanax before I set foot outside in it. lol

Could be worse. One guy in my Guitar class went as a streaker. He even had black censor bars covering the stuff dictated by law.
He won 500 dollars for it, and spent it all on drinks for people who cheered for him.
*facepalm*

I don't think I'd do that for $500.
Year before last we went to the mall with the kids to trick or treat and there was this woman who was...well lets just say well past 40, and not a good looking hot 40. wearing ripped fishnets, hotpants with her cheeks hanging out, a bikini top and some sort of ripped fishnet top thing over it..I *think* she was dressed as a hooker, then again, it could be how she dressed everyday. :D
point is everywhere i went i ran into her and people were looking at her and pointing and laughing or looking disgusted....
i don't wanna be that chick this year  (then again some people were disgusted by my costume too. i was a cheerleader. with the initials M.I.L.F across my top)

Someone at my school dressed as a dominatrix. She had a whip and everything. I thought she looked awesome. :D

Most of the girls in my school that dressed up looked like sluts with short skirts, fishnets, and blah. It was kind of disturbing though to see the football team dressed as 80's aerobic instructors so they pretty much looked like Richard Simmons with cut up sweatshirts over the tight clothing. o.O
Dressing up as Blue from Wolf's Rain was successful except her outfit made it look like I wasn't wearing pants since the coat is long but it was all good. Trick or treating twas fun too. Yay candy.

At all the places you could get costumes the area I live in has about two places. For all the teen girls, all the costumes would show too much skin ex. stomach, legs, clevage. Also it's so cold I didn't know they could stand it.
