To begin with, the director of the Death Note movie Mr. Takase Hiroshi has passed away from a stroke.(not sure which type of stroke yet) He was 50 years old.

Now that I read more about DN movie, it turned out Nakamura Shidou (actor who plays Ryuuk in the movie) was also arrested because he was driving when he was drunk + ran the red light.

And Obata (one of the creators of the Death Note Manga) was arrested for possessing a knife...

So yeah... very strange. Heart goes out to Takase Hiroshi!

He was going on a camping trip; and always brings it with him. It was a couple inches longer than the legal limit (Massachusetts has a similar rule, too). He was just fined.
