Ok, I'll be the brave first one.
First off though? Most of what I draw, is from me just looking at a picture, then sketching it. Every once in a while I'll actually get creative, and create one from scratch, but not Oft. I can draw so-so, just don't feel like making up something at the top of me head. And I Rarely color. Only when doing jackets or wall murals. Always afraid I'm going to mess it all up with color. I'm not as talented as those using those coloring programs on the computer.
Anyhow, here's one example from my Favorite book

Thanks. I tell people it keeps me from getting bored.
I just bought a new jean jacket to do. But cannot make up my mind, whether to do one based on the series of Inuyasha or Rebirth. I love the art of Inuyasha, but Rebirth has won my heart.:/

Thanks all! As for backgrounds? I've only just begun playing at those. I think the most I ever had fun at, was the main one I put up here, the one of Legolas (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/VoulantLucius/Drawings%20101/Legolas1.jpg), and the pic I did of me friend Mannon (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v293/VoulantLucius/Drawings%20101/172b5364.jpg). But the one of Rebirth was my favorite of all. Thanks! I think I'll go try and manage some more now. ;)

Why don't you try your hand at screentones? I'm hopeless with backgrounds and I desperately need some ^0^**
Keep it up, your work is really good!

THanks guys. Uhm, actually, I'm still trying to finish (haha) three pieces in my off time that're from a comic book that was called THe Darkness. But I'll try to start a new piece tomorrow. And though I work part time at a video store (pays for the manwha/manga habit), one of the joys of being a boss is I can tell everyone else to leave me the hell alone while I do whatever (draw).:) I'll try to have a new piece soon. :)

Ok, EVER the slow sketcher. I just wanted to say I have been actually working on something. Started it late Monday afternoon, and had too much work to do to work on it at work. Anyhow, hopefully it'll be finished fore the weekend is through. Cause as always, I have work starting again Monday.
OH!!! I wanted to say, anyone who might be a teacher, Borders/Waldenbooks is having a sale of 25% off ALL books. YEAH! I'm going in later today. It's for a week.
Ok, here's a peak. Sorry I'm so slow though.:/

This is not an insult! but... OMG! You copy so well! I can't copy pictures...no..hic hic

No insult taken. As I said, I rarely come up with a pic and design on me own. I usually see a pic I like a lot, and draw it to whatever size I want while I look at the pic. I'd just bought a larger sketch pad for this pic too. And while I'm not totally original, as far as I know, I can draw anything I see. I even tried my hand at cars and trucks one day sitting at Burger King waiting my kids while they played there. Just started drawing an Avalanche I saw and liked. Turned out well. Surprisingly. Guess you can really do anything when you're bored enough. ha!

Can anyone help me on a question? I'm thinking of buying a drawing tablet.
Does anyone here use those? And can anyone suggest any in particular?
Thanks in advance

I actually hate that term of copying (NOT going towards you either). Why? Cause it takes WAY to much freakin time to ever be simply called copying. :/
But, on the other hand, guess it is, cause it's not my original design. I still haven't finished the dumb thing yet either. Someone I know tried to show me/tell me how to color using a computer graphics program. I don't think I'm all that good at it.
So if anyone has tips on that OR a drawing tablet for the computer, PLEASE speak up?. :D Thanks!!
And thanks on the compliment too! It takes a lot of work for me, even if I'm not the one who came up with the original design. ;)

thank g'd. I finally finished this stupid thing. I have SUCH the problem in finishing a stupid picture. This one took about two weeks in off time to do. And I was up till four am determined to finish it up. Course, the fact that I was watching Ceres at the same time, probably did not help all that much in the speed of things. Oh well.
