I've been try to test out the Manga upload, but it is really hard to use.

1.) why the size must be 425px x 632px? And with even 1px more or less, the upload didn't work at all.

2.) Sometime the thumbnail resize didn't work out, even the page is @ 425 px x 632px.

3.) The page numbering system is confusing.

My suggestion:

1.)Add a picture resize interface to help people "crop" and "resize" their picture before upload. Which will make sure the size is right, and limit the file size per page.

2.) Add a FAQ or help link to teach people step by step upload. (Although the interface itself looks plain and simple, but it just too confusing when you don't know what's going wrong.)

3.) May be add a preview and confirm step before the picture show in the manga section.:)

Heh, just kidding. The only reason I can think of for the manga pixel specification is so that people post manga and not just any sized picture. That way it won't get confused with the pictures place. Also to work with the manga player they have.

But I find the system equally confusing. I'd like to post some of my stuff, but I'm waiting for them to get this place settled down first.

Y'mean like the brilliant option that comes with most most image packages, including Photoshop (as far as I know) and The GIMP (which is free)?

Yap, somthing like that. Like most of image hosting site, ebay, or Livejournal, when you uploading picture, it will have an interface pop up. All you have to do is crop the image within thier size limit. (Isn't that is the fastest and esaiest way to upload the picutre without people going all different size?) In some site you can even adjust the brightness and contrast of the picture...well that is too fancy for here though.
