It's a gimmick to plug her fashion line but I still like her music. The Harukuju Girls track is actually one of my favorites.:o I wish she would make video for it but the last one wasn't that great so maybe it won't happen.

Her music's okay. I only really like one song... And I forgot the name of it.

I also don't really like her style all that much.

As a solo artist I like her 'What cha waiting for?' song best. ^_^

I love her clothes. Her music is decent. But, like a lot of people, I liked No Doubt better.

I like Gwen Stefani she has a vary weird fashion sense though. her music is grate i still listen to it daily. i dont think her Japanese talk is a gimmick.

She's OK as just Gwen. But she's GREAT as No Doubt.
I wish she would tour as No Doubt again. Hopefully after she has her baby... maybe awhile after.

I love Gwen!! :P She inspired me.. I think? :rolleyes: Meh, whats better than having 4 japanese chicks following you around everywhere... Although, I feel sorry for the crtiicisms =( Anyway, I like about 7 songs in her debut album, pretty good ne? :D I was probably going to make a Gwen thread, but you beat me to it lol :cool:

lol yea, i had to research wtf L.A.M.B was when i first heard her songs. But then again, i also had to look up 'Comme de garcon' and 'Vivian Westwood'... and i seem to have forgetten what they are again lol :o

I was so happy to see her break away from No Doubt. As amazing as No Doubt was, some of its stuff got repetative. And to hear her new album, aside from two semi-similar tracks, she's finally able to mix it up and give good variety. She's a great dance/R&B artist and it's no wonder she's so popular. And the fact she's taking her interests in the Japanese culture with her only means that manga and artists of Japan could soon become an even bigger trendy.

Wouldn't that be cool? "I like manga, so that means I'm trendy." lol j/p

We've all heard it before... but I liked her more when she was with No Doubt. >_< Gah, can't believe they broke up. It was her too huh!? She thought she could make it? ARGH!

Apparently, they haven't split. No Doubt I mean.

Gwen Stefani, like most lead vocal artist of many bands in this day and age, has taken time to do her own thing.

In an interview I read, she's going to get back together with the rest of the No Doubt crew after she's settled down a bit.

I thought No Doubt was taking a long time off since they've been doing this whole music thing for more than a decade and that Gwen's pretty much the only one still all ready to perform while the guys are just wanting to establish a homelife. I dunno what the story is, that's just what I've gathered from US Weekly and other sorts of news sources.

Really? I like the Sweet Escape and the video is so cute. I like her stuff and I put up with alot of riducule for it. Every one I know is all indie or classic rock.

I love Gwen Stefani. Has anyone gotta her lastest album the "The Sweet Escape". It's a good album, though I like "L.A.M.B" better. It's more original.

But I really Gwen, she's seems like a nice person, and I love her personality, though that's from what I see on television.

From the "L.A.M.B" album, I'd say my favourite song is "What you waiting for", and from "The Sweet Escape"....uh~ "Yummy", and "The Sweet Escape". Also "Wind it Up".

I can't wait to see her live this year.

Yea I have her new CD! It a bit dissapointing though cause I don't really like most of the songs. Nevertheless I luff her and she is my idol. When I first heard yummy I didn't really like it too much but it grew on me.

RKambereyes-Yeah, even though I've had the album since it came out, and like the songs. Whenever I hear it, I'm not really to happy or I feel like the songs are still kinda of new to me. Though I like them, I don't feel them as much as her previous album's songs.

Only really with a few tracks. But I still think it is a good album.

My favorite song of Gwen's (as a solo artist) is Luxurious. I also liked: Cool, Hollaback Girl, and What You Waiting For. I didn't like Rich Girls for some reason...

I'm disappointed in her new album though. I haven't liked any of the singles. :(
Wind It Up was blah. And The Sweet Escape is annoying as crap.

Yea, she needs to get ass back into the recording studio with No Doubt, because her second album suxors bad and the only reason its having any success whatsoever is because its gwen stefani.

Yes! I would love for her to go back with NoDoubt I liked them better. She worked well with them!

Me too. Gwen's Hip-Hop/Dance image is so obviously fake. She works better when she's in her true genre- which is Rock...or Alternative- whatever the heck No Doubt was classified as...

Yah Glitter. Her voice sounded better in No Doubt too. She really pulled it off! (She's on Americon Idol today too)! Coaching, i think.
