Favorite Music Genre's

Ok, I see a lot of people posting what is your favorite bands and what not, but its really hard to remember band names most of the time. So I made this thread ^^

My favorite music comes from a bit of the late 70's, the 80's, early 90's, classical music (yes like Bach and Sarasate), J-pop/rock, Celtic music is also one of my favorite things to listen to. I love anything with a violin in it (note I said violin, not fiddle, there are differenece between a violin and a fiddle so no I do not like country, not now, not ever) I like some European music as well, like VNV Nation and the Cruxshadows. That is about what I like ^^;;

I love Punk(most sub-genres), Grunge ummm, some indie. I love stuff with 60's or surf influences too. Oh and I'm a big fan of garage too

mostly metal. Anything that has good guitar and Bass and doesn't have cringeworthy lyrics is good though. And by cringeworthy I mean angst, romance, and the like. That said, Queen and the Beatles had a lot of love songs, so I dunno. Modern stuff tends to suck I suppose.

I love good music, I like every genre execpt possibliy country, house, rap, emo and hip hop.

Favourite ones are: Metal, Jazz, Blues, Synth and Classikal Rock (read Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull and Pink Floyd) :)

I'm open to all genres. I either like a song or I don't. But i do find myself listenign to a lot of rock, mostly indie, and tecno. but rock is definently my big one. the soundtrack for O brother where art thou is killer though. i usually don't like country and folksy music but this one was okay!

I can Listen to anything EXCEPT emo and country. Top four favorite generes are Punk Rock(mainly from the 80's Early 90's, and not the MTV version of what punk rock is), Classic Rock, Trance, and Oi.

There are way too many artists out there that don't fall under any one category that I like. So I practically like everything except country and jam band.
