Hello folks as u can see i am from Brazil, i am always uptading myself with some new stuff at Tokyopop, but i cant buy tho' xD anyway i was wandering at the website and this Manga caught my attention "Battle Club" i read the plot :
"When freshman transfer Mokichi arrives at Swan Academy High, he's got a chance to start over with a clean slate. He's got a plan, too. Kick the butts of the toughest guys in school, prove himself to be the baddest dude around, and run the whole shebang. Problem is, it's his butt that gets kicked that first day. Completely humiliated, Mokichi joins the Wrestling Club in hopes of learning to fight. There he meets unlikely allies, Tamako and Higuchi, two of the hottest battle babes to ever roll their sweaty bods over Swan Academy's gym mats. And Mokichi's gonna need all the friends he can get, what with the likes of the Karate Club looking to "break in" the new kid in the worst way possible."

T_T It's EXTREMELY hard to find this manga now. I don't understand why. After watching IkkiTousen (that's the anime adaption of Battle Vixens if you don't know) I began getting interested on Battle Club. But like I said, I was never able to check it out due to the fact that it's hard to find.

I'm really interested in this manga. So um yeah. *nod* Whats your review on it?

If you like Battle Vixens/Ikki Tousen then you will like Battle Club. It doesn't have the most intelligent plot or anything but it has lots of sexy girls with their clothes coming off and nice wrestling action. If you like manga with lots of fanservice, definitely buy this one. It's also very funny as well. So hot naked girls+wrestling action+goofy humor=Battle Club!

I'm not a big fan of these kinds of manga but I liked it because it doesn't take itself seriously and makes fun of itself. Like there's a scene where you can see a girl's panties and the narration is like "For some reason, her panties keep making an apperance."

To the poster above: It just came out this month so it should be easier to find in the future!

This book is kind of a mixed bag. Its really funny and actually makes you think, but the gratuitious amounts of fan service are sometimes a bit much, and I'm a guy who enjoys a bit of fan service!

The author (can't remember the name) could easily do this book w/o the fan service and it would still be a really good title.

One of the best lines from book 1:
"And that shark learned a lesson it will never forget."

There's a difference between bad manga and intentionally bad manga. This is the second. :P

I love its cheesy center.

True, but its got a lot of heart you know and that's what appeals to me. And the cheesieness. Did you see the part where the sensi and Team Captain spent like two volumes peeing? Everytime they came back to those two I laughed til it hurt.
