Oh I played this game! It look me forever to get the controls down though. It's the first game I played that was horror. I haven't beaten it yet though. I can't remember how far I had gotten. ^^;

But I really had fun playing it! Though it creaped me out when I was playing it at night. So I only played during the day. heehee...

He reminded me so much of Johnny Deep for some reason, and yeah it was sad.

But it also was a KICK ASS game. T_T

i watched my friend play it on gamecube... i played it on the ps2 and there really wasnt that much of a difference..
i liked the ps2 version

I love RE4, it was my first Resident Evil and got me hooked on the series.

I played both the GC and PS2 version. There was a small difference in graphical quality, but not enough to really make much difference.

My favourite weapon is the Chicago Typewriter. It makes me feel like a real mob guy hehe

Love Resident Evil 4, I like the PS2 version just a little over the GC version, Ada's Report really sealed the deal for me.

I got the handcannon, makes the game totally cracked especially when you upgrade the gun to infinite ammo, it kills just about everything in a couple of shots.

If the 'Cube version was any indication, then both versions sucked for me. Complete disappointment. For those who liked Res. 4, try out Res. 1 for Gamecube. Much more intense and scary, better overall.

I preferred teh GC version myself. The only extra I actually like was Mercenaries, and with my great eye for detail the graphical differences were just too obvious. The PS2 version was gloomier, had less tress etc etc.
Never understood why people find those games scary though. Annoyingly frustrating thanks to the save system, but not really scary.

YEah...even if the PS2 ver was better..the GC cost $10 new and Ps2 cost $30 new.

Yea! Resident Evil 4 is awesome. Luis's death wasn't too big of a suprise. But I've only played the GC version, because I've heard the PS2 version had bad controls so I never bothered getting it.

I just recently started playing this game. Im at the beginning of chapter 3. I have it on the PS2 and the controls and everything are fine to me and the graphics are still great. I didnt play the GC version so i can't compare. But I'd think that regardless of what platform you played it on you still come down to that its a good game.

Doesn't have the grx thingy. But it gives you the matilda and infinite bazooka on beating the game, as well as unlocking proffesional difficulty, gives hand cannon on getting five stars on all the stages with all the chaqracters on The Mercenaries and give the chicago typewriter on beating Assignment Ada or wahtever it's called.

I keep getting Ada killed in The Mercenaries therefore my lack of Hand Cannon. :(

I keep getting a lot of characters killed. Can't seem to do the battlefield with Hunk or Leon, can't get full score in the docks with anyone except wesker, etc etc. I guess I'm a bit odd.

Same here; Wesker seems to work the best for me. With Ada, though, all she can do better than anyone else is... move faster. You would think that would help a lot more than it tends to...

Kauser's pretty good once you get used to him, mind you. He may be bloody slow, but he can kill the "boss" characters in a single blow with his arm.

Ah, well, I usually try to stay away from the psychos with the chainsaws and kill them from far off. Whenever I try to test my luck with them at a closer range, I usually end up with no head.
