Yeah, I went to the library with a friend (I HAD to get out of after-school study, all my homework was done and I still had 1 1/2 hours left to sit there... and no, that's not detention.) and when we were looking in the "teen" or "young adult" section (I think that' shwat it was, they weren't labled!) I saw NGE volume eight, and I noticed that since it has Shinji's mother on it, that we are all the way up to book eight on Adult Swim!

By the way, AS (Adult Swim) and G4TV (Tech TV) are the only channels that I get that show anime. My dad also has the TiVo settings so that I can't watch any shows that are 14+ on the tv, buy my brother knows the password to turn the lock off....

I'm just gonna post one or two answers and then off to bed...

1) - Ok, so my fav char would've to be Asuka and the fourth chosen, the one who turned out to be an angel, but I cannot remember his name... It's been a while since they have stop airing it, here on Argentina.

2) - I like the show because it was something different from the rest when it first appear. Besides, in every chapter the scriptwriters made you think... My opinion

What are your favorite characters? Shinji. I like-y awkward, clumsy anime guys. Not sure why.
Do you know why you like the show? Hmm... I'm not exactly sure why. I guess it's one of those things you just can't explain.
What do you think of the psychology & religous elements in the show? I happen to like things that make me stop and think/ponder, and this show does that a lot. So, I like those elements in the show.
What are/is your favorite episode(s)? I forget the episode number/title, but it's the episode where Asuke kisses Shinji because she's bored. XD I laughed so hard during that part...
Do you do anything related to the show? I'm in the process of planning a fanfic. :)


One of my favourite shows. The only negative thing I have to say about it is the ending. Absolutely hated the ending... :(

Fave Characters: Misato - shes jsut a hard ass that needs some love.
and the 4th chosen - Kaworu Nagisa
Why I like it: Wicked art, interesting/unique plot, great characters
Reliqious elements: Confusing.
Fave Episode: the 24th one with Kaworu Nagisa.

Didnt like the last two episodes, but the film they made for an ending was brilliant!!!

Who are your favorite characters? Probably Shinji and Asuka. They have dynamic.

Do you know why you like the show? Because it's a new, creative idea that involves a good deal of thought, conspiracy, and mixed emotions.

What do you think of the psychology & religous elements in the show? They were impressive, and most of them followed according to actuality, which made it more interesting. The Dead Sea Scrolls, for one, have been fictionalized all through the ages -- that they would be done from an Asian perspective was immensely intriguing.

What are/is your favorite episode(s)? Personally, I like the Misato-back-story areas. She's a character that has a tendency to be underestimated. I also really liked Death and Rebirth.

Do you do anything related to the show? (draw, write fanfiction, cosplay, ect.) No, I do not. Sorry. I could, however, recommend you to a few good authors/artists who do.

Favorite Character would have to be Misato gotta love a woman who can wake up chug a beer and not worry about being all dainty :D
I like the show cause..well it caught my attention an drew me in the plot was great and the seedy seele's plot was interesting too, most of all i love the angel vs eva scenes
I loved the depth of the religious and pshcological aspect of the show realy made me think(sometimes i thought i smelt burning) but it was great stuff
My favorite episode? i have to choose just one? lol umm i suppose when the eva first awakens and shinji merges into its core

my fav char is shinji, i love the show because of the mechs, story, religious stuff mentioned, how the characters are almost just like us!my fave epi would be both the episode where unit 1 destroys unit 3 or 4 forgot, and where unit 1 fights the 14th angel and goes berserk and eats the angel alive.I love trying to draw unit 1, its actually a hard taskbut i get threw and it turns out really good.

I have a love/hate relationship with it. I love it because it's got an intriguing storyline, deep/cool characters, and cool action scenes; but I hate it because it creeps me out. There are certain scenes that really make me freak. And I really don't like to think about the 2nd movie (End of Evangelion).

I'm not sure but one of them is "Magma Diver" epi.10 (I think) I found it suspensful.

Well I've done almost every thing: fanart, fanfiction (really a scritp for doujin), I been wanting to coplay but havn't yet, and I'm working on a doujin.


And for the record it sounds like you got counfused. the anime came before the manga. I don't know if you know that or not it's just from your first post it sounded like you though the manga came first.

This is my absolute favourite anime, it is the most well thought up and gripping anime I have seen. My favourite character would have to be Shinji.
