Hi! My name is Casie and I'm 17 years old. I'm a HUGE anime fan, and an even bigger fan of TokyoPop's Princess Ai. I've cosplayed her before at Otakon 2005, I wore a duct tape version of her costume, the very last one in her fist book...

This year however I've been perfecting my tequnique with the duct tape and I'm ready to hit Otakon 2006 with a BANG. I've improved everything, with a new costume and wings...

I'll be at the TokyoPop booth many times, but just so if you want to catch me there, I'll be there at 2pm on Saturday. Just pray that my wings will last that long! ^.^

wow i really like you costume, i wish i could cosplay at least once and know how to make my fav character outfit.

Well my dilema was that I couldnt sew, so I went to the next best thing, duct tape.

Thats insanely wicked! I really like your newer outfit- how did you make the edges look natrually ripped? Usually they get all stretched out or fake looking.
What are you going to be doing on at the TP booth? are u a spokesperson or just a stalker :P?

I'm a stalker! ^.^ Hahaha.

I just looked at the rips in the manga and then cut them out of a the strips of duct tape that I'd made. ^.^ I did however take a pencil and trace it into the duct tape so I knew it would look good.

Hahaha, thank you.... thats kinda the idea. ^.^ Well not really... once you look at it really close you can tell it's duct tape.
