What's the Pop it thing?

I know I'm showing off my techno-illiteracy here but I don't get what the whole 'pop it' thing is on the art.
Can someone please clue me in?

Its for if you like what your looking at, you pop it. The more POP something get the more POPulare it gets, you could say. atleast that what I think anyways.

Yes - if you approve of what was posted, you Pop it. Like, "Good job!" This elevates it above unPopped or less-Popped articles/pictures/stories/whatever. Your reasons for Popping something are your own, so you can make up your own standards. :3 You can Pop everything you read, or just the things you think deserve to be read by more people.

Basically what it means is that hte stuff that got popped in the first couple of days get a prominent position, so gets more read and more pops, and thus we wind up with a lack of new blog posts. It's a neat system.

If you lost it, the browse back a few days.... to the day that you posted and you will find it. Or you could do a search and find it that way. What was the question anyway?

And on the topic of pop it. I think it is a rating system of some sort. It sounds funny though whenever I read it. XD Ha.

Yes, that was actually the first thing I looked for, an FAQ page. They should add one.
But thanks to everyone who answered my question. I get it, about the pop it thing, now.
