Mine was Arch Enemy with support from Strapping Young Lad and Throwdown (I don't like the latter 2 bands, but Arch Enemy was well worth it :P) But.. on April 9th I am going to see Anthrax on the reunion tour, so the best concert may change soon

It's a toss up between the last Rush tour a few years ago(Hollywood Bowl, which is ABSOLUTELY the best place for concerts*), and Primus during the Animals Should Not Try to Act Like People tour.
*how this is: The HB lets you bring in your own food and drink, and the seats are designed in such a way that everyone sitting gets a perfect view. Let's also not forget the legendary shape, which maximizes aural range and quality.

I saw Dave Matthews Band in concert in 2001(?) in Boulder. Amazing. I got higher off just breathing than I've ever gotten from a pipe. :P
And it was a fabulous set.

Mindless self indulgence in Birmingham with my brother and best friend. It was a small venue (Guess they didn't know they where popular over here!) so we where all so squished, but it was fantastic! Everyone was talking to each othre, singing to make MSI come out (They where late, so a group of us at the front started singing "The bass, the rock, the mic, the treble! I like my coffee black just like my metal!") It was great! I really hope they tour again.

I saw depeche mode live in copenhagen a few weeks ago, probably the best concert I've been too, I'm going to go with that one anyawy since it's the one I have in most recent memory, I went to a lot this summer, but they're all kinda flowing into each other.

Seeing dredg at the El Mocambo last summer. Best show ever.
Clutch comes as a close second. Saw them at the Opera House back in December of '04.
My first time seeing System of a Down ranks as an awesome third.
Saw them at Copps Coliseum back in '02.

I've only been to one Japanese concert. D'espairs Ray came to Sugoicon.
But I think the best concert I've been to lately was The Academy Is... (http://theacademyis.com). It was actually for The All-American Rejects but I didn't stay for them. TAI was aaamazing.
And my favourite band, whom I've not seen in a long time, is Kill Hannah (http://killhannah.com) and I've been to a few of their shows and loved every one of them <3

I've never been to a 'real' concert. South Carolina doesn't have many good music groups.
I was going to go to a D'espairs Ray concert, but they cancelled it at the last minute. >_>

Michael Jackon History Tour '97:D I'm an MJ fan so ofcourse it was the best and in fact thats the only real payed concert somewhere i've been too next to 2 award shows where i saw many artists. All else where just mini concerts at a festival here.
Ohh and i liked the performances of 3T when i went to some recordings of TV programs(also TOTPs..it so not how it looks like on TV) :)

Kimeru's New Year's Live in Shinjuku this year. So worth every penny to fly over there to see him. There is nothing like him out there. I'm saving up my money to do it again.
(And in case you're wondering, he sang the first Tennis no Oujisama ending "You Got Game", the third opening "Make You Free" and then he also sings the Yugi-Oh ending "Overlap". He was also the original Fuji (and then Ryoma) in the Tennis no Oujisama Musicals.)

The best concert I've been to would have to be the Subliminal Verses Tour. My day was March 14th 2005 at the Allstate Arena in Chicago. Shadows Fall and Lamb of God opened for Slipknot. All three bands did an impressive job. My view was front and center for the opening bands and front right for Slipknot.
When your ears are blown and your throat is shredded raw, you know that was a good time.
Close seconds were the Ill Nino (Disturbed) concert and the last Slipknot(unearth) concert both at the Rave in Milwaukee.

I've been to many concerts over the years, the likes of - Iron Maiden, Metallica, Slipknot but I think the best one that I've been to was Thin Lizzy when they kicked off the Irish leg of their world tour in my home town last year.
They put on a performance like nothing I've ever seen and the atmosphere in the building was nothing more then staggering,
here's just a few pics...
PS. sorry 'bout the poor quality :p

Honestly the best concert ever was when I saw BBMak in Atlanta, Ga way back in the day before they were immensely popular - I was there to see their opening act SolidHarmoniE who I had been a fan of forever and a day.. the concert was really good- great guys with great talent at that time when most boybands were just using studio musicians. But I happened to meet S.H.E that day so that's probably why I consider it my best concert ever LOL
Second Best would be the NSYNC concert my mother took me too .. because well my mother is gone now and that trip just holds so many fond memories for me because she was there with me the whole time and she had more fun watching them sing than I did. So that one belongs to my momma but it gives me a great memory :)
DevilDriver at Water Street Hall. it's no originary concert.

I just went to a Polysics concert at the Knitting Factory.
It was pretty damn good... very small venue and TONS of energy from the band, which is what I feel makes a concert great.
Not to mention the tables upstairs that we sat at that had a waitress coming by to serve us drinks while we watched.

I've been to the past four Bon Jovi concerts they held in Montreal. They are AMAZING everytime. They're my life-long favorite band. <3
I wish I had been at the 2004 Laruku Otakon concert... ;_; *cries a river*
The Simple Plan Montreal concert last year was pretty good... I'm not very fond of their music, was keeping company to my sister, but they're quebecer and real simple guys and pretty cool. ^^
I was at AX's Yoko Ishida's concert! She's so cute. ^.^ And MiQ the same year was pretty amazing!
Besides that, never been attended anything else worth mentionning...

Is that you with him? That's awesome!
He did some stage diving when I was there and hit his butt on the stage and kinda hurt himself, but played the rest of the show with incredible energy, and then when they went off, finally showed some sign of succumbing to the pain...
But then, they came out for an encore! That deserves so many points.

yeah, thats me and hayashi-san. i got to meet everyone, but i didn't really get to talk/take a picture with tayo. (keyboardist)
they were all so nice and sweet, i have alot of pictures from the event too.
we got to color with crayolas togeather, and during the concert, hayashi-san took my tofu hat and started wearing it on his head! XD
(my friend believes it was probably because he saw me singing along with him to the songs while everyone else just had a blank face.)

By far, hands down and with out a doubt it the BEST CONCERT EVER that I went to was U2 last december in Buffalo, NY. We not only managed to get floor tickets, we won the random lottery to go inside the elipse. For nearly the entire show I was 5 feet from Bono!!! It was the most amazing experiance I have ever had! I still haven't quite gotten over it. ^_^

British Sea Power playing the Bristol Bierkeller.
Yeah, it was fantastic from the very beginning with all the band members wearing army uniforms etc., but as they drew near the end they built the music up into a crescendo, rained glitter from the ceiling, started to bang drums with the stuffed animals they'd arranged all over the stage, crowd-surfed (I accidentally! groped the front-man on his way overhead, and ruffled his hair when he landed), and just generally were seen to be having the time of their lives. I'd kill to live that over again.
Oh, and in the interval they played the Wurzels. ODD.

Bono is old and sweaty. D:
Well, seeing as Bono is pushing 50 in a few years (he's 46) I'm sure that many people could consider him as being old - or at least older, and one would worry if he didn't get all sweaty with the way he keeps running around on stage under those hot stage lights. So, yes, I agree that Bono is indeed old and sweaty (sometimes), but neither observation takes away from the fact that he puts on a KILLER show! :D
