[sorry-I know some people hate it when the topic of school comes up]
I'm thinking about shopping at the places below for back-to-school clothes:
*Forever 21
*AsiaJam.com
*Gadzooks
*Journeys
*Target
I'm going for the full harajuku look this year! I need the bright-colored leggings, cute barrets, funky Vans [shoes], and some retro tops
any places you suggest shopping at, or ideas toward where you're gonna shop???

Woah, woah! It's only July and you're already thinking of back to school stuff? Wow. Do you start school in August or something?
Anyway, I'd probably go to Ross for some cheap stuff and New York & Company for some nice black pants which is part of my school's uniform.

wow! Jacku! uniform... wish I had one (but I go to a public school..)
Khols...other than that, I don't shop much. I usually like to wear something confortable. it's so weird seeing people 'dressed-up' for school.

HAHAHAHAHAH, I love being a gradutate. But of course I still have college to worry about. That's harder than trying to pick out a store that you want to shop at. I know what I want to do for a living, but getting to be that is the hard thing. I can't find any information on becoming a SPCA investigator. If anyone knows any information, I'm welcomed to hear it.

It PAINS me to think about returning to school.

I'm starting to think that I'm very lucky to have a uniform at school...
Well, whenever my school hosts a 'no-uniform-day' for fundraising, they always notify the students the day before so no one goes out just to buy clothes for the day. But some people go out to buy stuff anyway. Personally, I find it very stupid...
If my school didn't have a uniform, I wouldn't wear my 'good' clothes to school. There's no point, it's only school. You'll get it dirty or torn. Better off wearing something comfortable and save the good clothes for when you go out.

Heading to a new college in October this year, so yeah, I'm gonna be spiffing up! It's art school! ^__^ And it has a great fashion department, too, so no DUH the little computer animation major is gonna be getting together some cool-lookin' clothes for her fashion-major roomies!
I say we all bring back 3-D paint and make our own t-shirts. Any artists out there?! Because you can buy this little thing known as Textile Medium and turn normal, 44 cent-a-bottle acryllic paint into fabric paints. ^__^ I find that a LOT better than any BORING old store could ever do for my clothes.
Plus, I was inspired by Fool's Gold. O.O Tentopet (or Amy, if you wanna be boring) is the Awesome. Yes, capital-A Awesome.
You can also buy scrap fabric (available at a 40% discount at Wal*Mart in the scraps bin!) and do all kinds of cool things if you can sew. My favorite thing is either putting new cargo pockets on pants that don't have them, or decorating the cargos on the pants I already own. The latter tends to be the case. ^-^

Methinks I shall wear clothes to college next year. Yes, clothes will be nice.
Methinks your fellow students will be very thankful for that decision.

I go to a public school too. Where I live it is required that all students wear uniforms whether they go to a public or private school. That's fine by me though. I don't have to wear nice clothes or anything. :p

Well I already started school (I have year around) but there were a few things I recall doing to jazz up my fashion and the fashion of my school stuff. (I go to a public school mind you)
- Decorated bright colored folders with electrical tape. (It turns out quite nice and if you cut the tape you can make all sorts of cool pictures and things, exacto knives work well)
- Sharpied and puff painted my backpack. (It's an old cruddy bag so I just went crazy with it. Mine as well, gunna throw it away next year at most.)
- Fashion steal. (Just grab a picture of your favorite singer, musician, fashion, etc. and just find something similar to it, alter if needed. Usually browsing in the thrift stores and 75% off sections)
- Stickers!!! (Man I love stickers, just stick them all over your notebooks and stuff)
Thats about it so far...
