Shall We Dance recently came out in the us with Richard Gere and J-lo but personaly I think that the Japanese version of the movie makes more sense because of Japanese culture. That's just me, what do you think?

Shall We Dance, Japanese version, is the fifth Japanese movie I had ever seen here in America. It was very, very nice and I liked it a lot. The Returner was awesome too. I haven't seen Shall We Dance, American version, but I'm sure it wasn't as good.

I love the American version of Shall We Dance. I haven't been able to see the Japanese version from the beginner but it looks good. It seems that the American version did a good job of adapting it.

I like both versions of the movie myself. No one else in my family really liked the Japanese one but my mother chocked that up to me being the only in the family to understand Japanese culture lol.

I believe both scripts worked well. The American version while different had a good story that was similar to the Japanese one. I thought Richard Gere and Jennifer Lopez did a good job on a remake.

I saw the Japanese version which was pretty good. And funny too, those two guys dancing with eachother and a bunch of other completly random stuff I didnt understand but it was funny anyway because it was random. I haven't seen the English version but I heard it sucked. And it has J-lo. *dodges and avoids*

Saw the American version in the theater. Then rented it and found out there was a Japanese version. Liked the American a lot. So it seems we should see the Japanese version to compare notes!
