I wash my hair every few weeks, because if I wash it too often it breaks. The best shampoo for me is Silk Elements.

The best stuff i ever used was Back to Basics: Texture. Unfortunatly it's kinda expensive and can only be found in salons. Otherwise Garnier Fructise is my other fav (it just smells so good ^_^)

Dove is amazing, butHerbal Essence is nice for smelling goooood. Treseme is what I'm using for the time being, it's making my hair quite strong, considering how long it is. But I'm not so bothered about it being silky because my hair is naturally black and shines a lot, but I prefer having it messy, so I tend to have a lot of tangles, so Treseme Shampoo and Conditioner is good

I also like using Head & Shoulders. I sometimes use Herbal Essence but it's not my favourite.

herbal esscense's pin straight shampoo and conditioner (for all the good it does my hair is so think and unruly most of those things have no effect), before that ShiKai henna shampoo (brings out natural color) and ABBA leave-in mint conditioner (makes your hair really shiny, but pretty expensive). i like to change my shampoo a lot.

I use L'Oreal Vive on my hair. Since I have really curly hair, it works really well and gives more body. If you put a little of the conditioner in your hair when you get out of the shower, kinda almost like your putting gel or something, it makes a really good replacement without as much chemicals. Or maybe it's just me cause everyone elses hair is different.

Does anybody know which Shampoo to use if your hair is thinning and falling out? or any hair supplements, anything which is successful and will promote regrowth to your SCALP and nowhere else on your body! Haha, I get kinda get that if you take hair supplement tablets that it'll work on your whole body hair aswell as head hair... I dunno why ^_^;

I do the same thing; I need a nice, thick gooey cream because my hair is a little frizzy and I put it on while my hair is still wet. Instant control.

I change shapoos constantly, partially fo the fun and partially because have yet to see a significent difference.

Um...I just use whatever's sitting on the shower ledge; I haven't killed my hair...yet. I've used Head and Shoulders, L'Oreal Kids, the drugstore generic brand, ,this weird thing that's like L'Oreal Kids and this Suave kids thing. I've used Treseme, more Suave, this large bottle that I forgot the name of and other stuff for conditioner. But I use a lot of it, I've got a lot of hair. And because it's fun. I'm growing it out for my Himeka cosplay at AN 07 and then cutting it next summer into a Sasuke/Tomonori(Juvenile Orion)/Ishida Uryuu mix cut-thing, just a little longer.

Right now I'm using Sunsilk Total Care. It's shampoo, conditioner and treatment in one. Great because I don't have much time in the mornings and I like to shower and wash my hair twice a day.

I normally rotate between these brands: Pantene, Sunsilk, Garnier and Herbal Essences.

Don't know if I'll be successful, but I'll try :p lol.

You could try Tresemme Silk Protein Healthy Volume. The Shampoo & Conditioner.

And do you straighten your hair? If you do it alot then that could be why your hair is really thin because it burns your hair. If you do, then try not to do it so much or put something in it after you straighten your hair.

Or do you color your hair? Sometimes if you dye it too much, your hair might start to fall out a little. If so then try not to dye your hair so much.

I hope I helped you in some way.

i hear you should stay away from infomercials that promote any hair regrowth, it usually involves paint, or the chia pet theory.

To Cura I don't straighten my hair, or blow dry, or dye, I don't really do anything but wash and let it dry naturally. And funnily enough I use that Treseme brand!! And I find that it doesn't help much. I mentioned it in a page or so before. I'm just doomed, I'm beginining to drink looooots of water, but not much fruit and veg so maybe I should do that a lot more?

Nikitia I haven't bought anything seen from infomercials, I haven't bought any supplements yet, but I don't really have a clue which brands or medicines to trust.

Really? Wow. Well, Tresemme was just my suggestion (but your using it anyway), but there are alot of other hair care products you could try. They all have a different reaction to different people. Or if you want, maybe you could visit a doctor and they might be able to tell you. But it is important to eat your fruits and vegetables anyway :p

I normally just use whatever i can afford, but the best one i ever used was this austrailian shampoo that smelled like peaches!!! but it was quite expensive and i cant remember what it was called... maybe just 'aussie' or something like that. It smelled so delicious too!

Aussie kicks everythin else's butt! Well, in yum smells at least :P
I use Aussome Volume shampoo and it does wonders for my hair. Tried L'oreal vive, herbal essences, garnier, panthene pro v, selson blue, suave... just about everything under $10. Head and shoulders also works pretty good but smells kinda funny u_u;;
I feel you Sambo; I too suffer from limp fine thinning hair x_x Everything i mentioned works great for less than a month but then causes tangles, blockage, breakage, and just sucks. Considered getting hair plugs but the $ is hella $$$$ o_o. Guess i'll stick w/good ol'fashion shampoo and water.

Onto week 3 w/aussie and so far so good <_<;;

sorry samblo.ali i can't help u with hair growth, i'm a 21 year old female, i have to deal with hair removal (ouch) not regrowth.

another question, i have thick long hair that is supposedly curls (actually all it does is dry in a gigantic wavy mess, thats why i have to blowdry it straight) does anyone know a good line to promote clean looking curls if i let it dry naturly?

Hokutochan
07-26-2006, 11:51 PM
Hm, don't know how it works on curly hair, but my sis uses Wash and curl [or is it wash'n curl?] for her mostly straight hair and ends up with mangable wavy hair. No curling iron or hair dryer required. The few commericals I've seen for it have been so low bugdet its sad, but it really works for her *shrug*. She's also put it in curlers and woken up with cute bouncy curls that last for 2 days or so. I'm so jealous of long hair- gotta keep mine short due to thinning limp hair -_-

I here you samo.ali. I have really thin hair myself, and the fact that I was ironing it everyday (with an actual iron) wasn't helping the matter either. I found that using Dove shampoo and conditioner made my hair wavier and gave the illusion that my hair was thicker. As for your hair comming out, maybe it's somthing else. Are you eating properly or under a lot of stress? Doing simple things like changing some of your eating habits and taking time to relax more may help.

I used to have long hair and I used some shampoo or other from my sister's suppliers ( she's a beauty therapist) or else I used Fructis, both were good. If you want your hair to be really soft, you should keep it wrapped up in a towel, after you've washed it, for at least half an hour. I know that's got nothing to do with shampoo but it can't hurt to mention it.
