Man-faye's getting to be quite infamous... I think he hosted a panel or something at AX, he's got quite a bit of internet presence... and last night, I saw him on a commercial for the Sci-fi show I Want to Be a Superhero (or something like that). He was doing his hairy-ass Man-faye dance in front of Stan Lee. O_o

More power to him! I just... don't wanna walk behind him again (that was emotionally damaging).

When I first saw him I thought the same thing, but after checking out his website and reading his interview with Anime Insider I sort of like him. Though like I said before he should shave. If we girls have to do it then he should too when dressing that...um...provocatively?

Me too! I was at first, sheesh, another drag queen, whooptie doo. And then I read the interview also and I have to admit I admire him. I can't say fighting for the right to btre flesh is exactly a worthy purpose, but in his case its hypocrasy. If girls can do it, why can't he? And he wasn't snotty about it the way femnists are when they fight for their rights, calling everyone and anyone the scum of the earth who doesn't agree with them.

He was pretty cool about it and didn't take it to a level of patriotic glory. I admire him for that. He was very mature and realisitic about the way he acted. So...Man Faye it is. I take off my hat to him and hope to slap his...erm...(kids forum) rear end one day. Ahem. ;)

I think he said that he is going to coplay as man-faye till people do not have a problem with him dressing like faye and till he get all the rights of a cosplayer just like every other cosplayer.

I was flipping through some On Demand (Comcast) stuff and saw that Man Faye had his own category. Either that or I can't read.
Anyway it doesn't have anything in it yet and until maybe later this month.

He was on the Tonight Show on Friday w/o the suit. But they showed a clip that was wicked traumatizing. Man-Faye: ruining the chance of mainstreaming anime everywhere.
