I wanted to buy this but i was wandering if it was worth it. Has anyone out there read this series and if you have, can you give a little info about what you thought about it? Thanks.........:)

It's so fun! I would give you summary, but it'll probably sound weird and you won't read it because of me blackmoon07. :D

I've read the first three volumes of Love Hina, so not much help there. ^^; But it was really great, though a bit confusing at times. xD

It's good. You see the mangaka — Ken Akumatsu — turn from good, to great in this series. The plot although convoluted does make sense and the entire story has heart to it. It's made with care and effort and has surprising twists and turns.

Some side characters actually significantly change and grow. There is fanservice and humor throughout and it winds down very nicely and concludes with an epilogue.

It's worth it.

Love Hina is AWESOME!! I read (and have) all 14 volumes and it's ten times better than the anime. Though at times it feels like some things repeat, it's one of those stories where you really see a person grown and change. Plus, he didn't ruin the ending. Though, I'm not too thrilled about his latest one with the magic and stuff--i forget what it's called. There's a series on it already too.

But yes, go read Love Hina!!

The manga is incomparable to the anime in terms of how much better it is. I absolutely love the manga. (i'm re-reading it now) I want to marry Kanako, I just need to figure out a feesable means of doing so. Any suggestions?

I've read this entire series before. It's a great series. But It's got it's many a problems with it too. Their'll be some speech ballons that are either messed up, maybe a word or two off in a sentence and probably translation over original Japanese text but besides all those slight problems it was worth getting cuase it was a great read and I ended off LMAO everytime I read it.

I've reread the series over 7 times and I still keep LMAO. You should also check out Ken Akamatsu-sensei's other works like A.I. Love you and Negima! both are as funny and as great as Love Hina.

(Side note: A.I. Love You is before Love Hina. If your a real fan of Ken Akamatsu-Sensei read A.I. Love You before Love Hina to really understand his humor.)

(Side Note2: In the Love Hina TV series and the Christmas movie they put refrence in from Ken Akamatsu-Sensei's first Manga A.I. Love You. in oddball places. Like in the first episode his drawing pad is left open to a picture of a girl in a swimsuit that's Saati from A.I. Love You. Watch more of the series to find other neat easter eggs like that.)

And of course there are the novels, as I recall coming soon. The manga was stronger then the series sure, I personally didn't like Love Hina Again (the 3 ep OVA) the first time I watched it, but found the manga easier to deal with. The series is your typical harem anime, but its still fun and worth your time and or money :)

Not to mention Itsudatte My Santa an OVA series based on a short story by Akamatsu. Its not bad, either. More for the Christmas season, obviously.

This is my first manga and it was what got me hook into reading mangas. It was really funny i remember laughing so hard. I felt sorry for Keitaro because he was always getting hit.

Love Hina is sooo funny! The illistrations aren't my favorite but the story is pretty cute and funny itself.
