I am doing a report on the expansion of manga and anime material in north america.

Does anybody know where I can get any numbers associated with this expansion?

Maybe if you call some local video and book stores and ask them about their anime/manga related sales, they can help you out. Send an email to Cartoon Network or Time Warner too, they can probably give you some viewer numbers.
