K-Pop

Does anyone here like K-Pop or Korean music in general? I like Lee Soo Young's song "Goodbye Love" and I have heard: "Get Ya" by Hyori Lee, "Luz Control" and "Choong Dohl" by se7en as well as some others that I do not know the titles of nor who they are by.

I love Dong Bang Shin Gi(DBSG/DBSK/TVFXQ/TVXQ)'s music. They're so adorable. xD I like Lee Soo Young as well. :3

yes, park ki young's 5th album is really great. i bought the last copy at my korean grocery store a few months ago. i too love "nabi" but i also like other songs on it such as "let it grow". ^^;

the MV to nabi is one of the prettiest videos ive seen. i really wish i knew enough korean to translate and sub it.

I like a few Kpop artists as well. Hyori Lee and Bi/Rain have already been mentioned though. I listened to a few of M's songs and K's "Will Dream" is interesting. Bi made his American debut in Madison Square garden. Did anyone hear about that? What did you think?

recently i've been listening to super junior & trax. my fav member from trax left but the lead singer's vocals got way better though the music softened down & the rest of the bandmates have "smaller" parts. anyway their new song "cold rain" is really good especially towards the climax. check it out. :)

I've tried Kpop, but I'm not a huge fan. Most of their music (from the little I've sampled) sounds American. I like jpop and cpop cuz it sounds different. I do like some of the angsty drama ballads. I'll probably get some of the OST for dramas eventually.

which is strange that you feel that way since japanese culture which includes entertainment is more influenced by the americans than koreans. it's true that koreans aren't into rock these days but even the japanese are into korean music. but that's your taste. :)

I got into listening to K-Pop back in 1999 and fell out the loop when I got into J-Pop. LOL I got back into it when I discovered WheeSung and Bi. My fave artists are Big Mama, Fly to the Sky, Bi, Wheesung, As One, Shinhwa. I also like some stuff by some stuff by GOD, HOT, t, Park Hwa Yo Bi, and SE7EN.
