I'm pretty sure that the reduced price of around £20 is worth it, even if the Debut version doesn't do double-page spreads or custom tones, but it doesn't seem to be a universal binary and I just want to make sure that it will actually work on my computer. So what happened to the Mac OS demo? Why is there only a Windows version?

I would ask the company directly. However, even if it's not a universal binary, it's almost sure to work on an Intel mac via Rosetta.

I managed to download the Japanese demo, and although I had no idea how to do anything in it, it seems to work despite not being universal and complaining that I don't have the recommended 1GB of RAM, so I went ahead and bought Debut. I already have an idea of something I could draw to test it on, but I can see it taking me quite a while to get used to thinking about how the tones will look on something when I'm drawing just the lines…

And?!! Did it work? I mean, did Mangastudio run on your Intel Mac?!!
I'm very courious about it.

Well it runs, but I haven't really done anything with it yet, so it may still be best to wait a bit longer.
