I have been watching it for practically over a year but they barely have anything on it. I mean They add like TWO (more or less) every thursday and they don't even have them seperated into different categories like Action Zone, Girl Power, Super Happy Fun Time, Etc. I mean it was so great at first but then it went so far down that I almost stabbed my foot...

I agree. It was really good at first... then it seems like someone stopped maintaining it. And it's still constantly being advertised everywhere (in manga and anime, at least) yet never seems to get updated or get new shows. What happened to the J-music and Live Action stuff that had going on for a while, too?

I loved my daily dose of Bento Beat Box! Then it just fell from the scene. I mean it was so good. I was perfectly happy and now they just let their fans down. I have even thought of dropping the service.

You can still order live action movies on their Events and Specials area. I watch GANTZ from there constantly. The four dollars really adds up becuase I only have the shows for one day and I want to rewatch them so I order them again and again. (The character developement and the way they are all related in the anime before they met in Gantz is like so amazingly neat....)

I wish that I could actually get the Anime Network 24/7 thing but my cable company is all "We don't have that...". I even did the thing where they said to call and scream for Anime Network 24/7.

I got in trouble...

XDXD. Mebbe if enough people literally scream for it, they'll get it :D.

That's why International Channel(Now the horribly named "AZN Network") and imaginasian(when they're not showing Asian Charlie's Angels) exist.

Uncensored, subbed anime. Although they do show some dubs, it's not as though they're showing any terrible ones...

Yeah, I never really found it all that good to be honest though. I would occasionally check out the music videos or something when I was bored but eh.. that's about it.

I watch Anime Selects more than Anime Network On Demand. To be honest, Anime Selects delivers. It has more anime but they are not as well known as the main stream ones that Anime Network uses. Like Descendents of Darkness (Yami no Matsuei, Y's, Desert Punk, Iczer 1, and more. They also do Con coverage! XD)

I don't know that it's "cracked up to be" anything but yeah. they update so far after a very long time and then start all over. blagh.

It was "cracked up to be" the greatest network dedicated to anime and japanese culture but it failed at that completely.

Since when did it have .hack?

It does have good series but the updates are so slow and make me want to cry... I watch Anime Selects more than The Anime Network...

I personally have wanted to get The Anime Network for quiet a while now but my cable company doesn't provide it. Sadly they don't provide any type of Anime channel what so ever. TT.TT Oh well sucks to be me. Got to watch the crap cartoon network provides on Adult Swim and what I can get off Tech TV. It's an injustice I know but not that many people I know use Knology cable services.

*Wishes people would take grammar classes*

Anyway, yeah it is not worth it but if your little heart wants it so bad I suggest Comcast or RCN. If you get Comcast you get the lovely Anime Selects and they have great anime.

ZOMG! Tech TV has ROD TV!

Hey Adrian_Alexander, have you tried watching Area 88 yet? The story started out slow but it's really picking up steam now in ep.5 b/c we finally learn about the main charcter's past.

I haven't liked it for along time, for me AnimeSelects OnDemand is better. And when I asked the cable company about getting the actual Anime Network channel, they didn't even know what it was. How pathetic!

I wonder if you are in PA as well... The comcast service here is so pathetic that my neighbor has been stealing cable from them for like years but they don't even notice. They have sent like twelve vans that have the radar thing dwn our road for years and they still haven't been caught. I had to report them myself LOL. Anyway Anime Selects is better by far.

In Ep.6, things will change for Shin. The thing that happened to Shin in the past is so sad too but I won't ruin it;) . How do you like the dogfights so far? I find them to on par with Macross Zero which is amazing b/c Area 88 is a tv series and not a OVA.

Adrian_Alexander

I have only seen episode one and two... So yeah...

I have never seen Macross Zero.

Macross Zero is the prequel to the Macross series. The story wasn't that great but the dogfights were in CG and were amazing.

I had the channel, but got rid of it about 3 months later. (I moved)
