helppp. kitty ears?

so i've come across a problem.
for the past few days, i've been looking for kitty ears, basically in honor of loveless and (in remembrance of?!) legal drug (kazahaya's random kitty moments).
I CAN'T FIND THEM.
i'm a bit stupid, so does anyone have suggestions as to where they might be sold?

I had a similar quest about a year ago. Loveless-inspired. ^_^; They were nowhere to be found at any of the major retailers (being out of season of course), so I ended up making some myself. I got a headband and a piece of fuzzy fabric at Wal-Mart and just sat down, without much sewing experience, and somehow came out with ears and a tail I really liked! They're irreplacable now. <3

But, if you would rather not invest the time/risk, I would suggest finding a costume store. They tend to have those sorts of things year-round. Or if you're really desperate, I'm sure you can find something online, perhaps on eBay.

i think i might try that - while i've never tried to sew in my life, i think it's worth trying. if it turns out to be disaster, i'm trying for ebay. thankyou. ^.^

ah, i've tried going to party city - the ones by my house are horrible though. although i am glad that someone else besides me thought to look there - i was kind of debating with myself over whether they would still have them. one of them had none, and the other had some, but it was a really limited selection - ones that were hot pink and black with a fake ear piercing, and the other was black with glitter and that feathery fuzz stuff. i think i'll try one more, and then i'll try my hand at sewing them...if all else fails, i shall go to ebay. ^.^

o at i party i found an nice black velveted one...and it came with a tail to...but i dont really use that.

I got a pair of ears, collar with a bell and a tail at a place called Black Rose. They have a website. But I can't remember if it is .co.uk or .com

I found bunny ears at Hobby Lobby a long time ago, I needed them for a job I had at the time (for about a week -grumble-). I don't know if they ever carried kitty ears or not, though.

My suggestion is to get a little batting, some sort of fuzzy fabric, maybe a bit of wire, and a good headband. There should be a few tutorials on Google for how to make kitty ears, they'd probably be really helpful if you've never sewed before.

this might be a few days late for you, but if you go to walmart, by like, 2 feet of fleece, you can use this -> http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/25557574/ if you want a hat that is.

the only difference i made, was i measure out 24" of fleece, and cut them into 4 inch squares (so i have 6 pannels vs 4) and if you sew the brim think on to the bottom of the hat, make it 4 inches thick, and once you sew it on, sew it to the inside too, so it folds over nicely (you will know what i am talking about if you make one)
