The mechanical specifications PDF linked off of this page:

http://www.tokyopop.com/aboutus/submissions.php

shows the measurements of a page at twice the size of a finished
Tokyopop page. The Rising Stars of Manga mechanical guidelines show the
same thing for 1x, 1.5x and 2x. The thing I noticed is that the
measurements for 2.x (which should match in both documents?) are not
the same in the first PDF, but seem correct in the Rising Stars of Manga
specifications. The first document shows the following measurements:

Bleed area: 11" x 15.875" (should be 10.5" x 15.375" ?)
Trim: 10" x 14.875" (same)
"Live" Image area: 9" x 13.375" (should be 9" x 13.875" ?)

This is based off of the Tokyopop standard size in the Rising Stars of
Manga mechanical specifications (which I assume have the correct
measurements for the 1x size). Maybe I am missing something. I've often
wondered about the correct technical specifications for print in a case
like this, and I just happened to notice a difference and I don't know
why it was there.

Or is it that there is a real difference between the two specifications?
