i like Blue Gender my self. with all the weapons and the blue in there. GoldenBoy is good for a laugh at that. gundam seed amoung other animes that i like to watch i do like one anime and it is so freakeing hard to find it's called 8 Man i only seen one epsiode of it and that's it. just a little fact about the movie RoboCop they got the idea to make the movie from the anime 8 Man. if you can find it watch it and you'll see why to me it's good.

Man, I hope you guys remember Goldenboy. Goldenboy came out early in the 90's when everything was on tape. I loved it so much I shelled out the 30 bucks for every 30 minute video AND bought it when it came out on DVD for full price.

It's about Kintaro Oe, the self proclamied student of life who quit school just prior to graduation to travel the world on his trusty bike. This is one series that you'll wish that they continued because it's completely satisfying at 6 episodes and absolutely leaves you wanting more! Kintaro Oe is also one of the greatest charcters I have ever seen as well, if he was real, I would have him mentor MY kids when I get em haha.

It's in Japanese only, I'm sorry to say. Yes I too played both games and cannot wait till the III!!!!! But if you buy it, there are english subtitles and it is graetly based on game one and part of game two. So if you get the chance, I suggest everyone should watch it.

My top 3 favorite animes would have to be:

Honey and Clover - This is one of those slice-of-life animes that actually has a heart. The events and moments are very true to life and real.

Mushishi - It's episodic but each episode has something meaningful to tell without being pretentious. The art is amazing, I'm hoping for a second season. People, MUST WATCH.

Texhnolyze - Man, the animation was superb! It's a lot darker compared to Haibane Renmei, but nonetheless still evokes a variety of emotions believably well. The ending got me. Seriously.

Actually hunter x hunter, i think it's the best shounen anime i've seen and i'll give you an overview.

Hunter x Hunter it's from the same line as Naruto, bleach or DBZ but this anime rather come to another approach. Instead of focusing on a every second fights like most shounen anime does, hunter x hunter just supports itself on the story like fullmetal alchemist i would say. The story is seem so unique because it is highly unpredictable. The summary review of this anime says about a boy chasing his father and at the same time to become a hunter but however these simple lines are pushed to a far extent to what we might believe and that's practically why this anime is so unpredictable. For instance the first chapter or more like an introduction of the anime consist of the basis of what are hunters but as the second chapter comes everything develops to the very define word of what is to be a hunter. I'd say everything about this anime is unpredictable, even the title might conjure a person to think another way as because when you hear hunter it's basically animals but i should emphasize that it's none from this concept.
There are five main characters , Gon :who wants to become a hunter to find his father
killua : who is being brutally abused by his family to become an assassin.
kurapika : he's like the last person of his tribe and now seek revenge
leorio: who wants to become a doctor at no means because from certain past.
Hisoka: he's a maniac who just kills for his pleasure and calls his opponents his fruits and i'd advise you not to watch this anime at night because this dude will creep you out.
I really recommend this anime if you really want to see a good story. And one thing i might add the art of the beginning of the anime is the only flaw of this anime but i should tell you that it gets better around episode 23 i guess.

I think I found an anime that is a little better than FullMetal Alchemist. Although, FMA is one of the BEST shows out there... I managed to find another series. I guarantee that this anime will be EXTREMELY popular when it reaches the states or hell it might be popular before it does! This anime is going to be huge. The first episode is just so damn great, and having read the manga... I know that it's just the beginning.

That anime is Death Note. Oh man, it's going to get so damn popular it's not even funny! Hell, it might be more popular than Naruto.

Oh wow, I love so many different animes. My all time favorite anime is definitely Berserk. I just absolutely love that anime.

Sailor Moon was really what I started watching when I was five. Me being that age didn't open me to the fact I watched anime until I was about 10, 11. That's when Inuyasha came out and when I started to do research on different series to see what was out there. =]

I was on Christmas vacation and spent time in a hotel with only cable TV as my company, luckily had an anime channel with different genres to watch. Until, I saw it and BAM!

Anyway, mine are Samurai 7 & Saiunkoku Monogatari. I love the original classic of Samurai 7, after watching the anime series just got even better. I just the love the character Kyuzo with super skilled talents and cold attitude. I hate it when he meets his end though...:(. Also, I like the hot bishies from Saiunkoku, with Shurei who is surrounded by them with no interest of marriage. Lots of angst, political, old history, romance, drama, and a serving hot guys :p.

My other favorites were Gakuen Alice, makes me laugh my head off with Mikan doing some stupid things without thinking, different gags, hinjinks, and more laughs. Paradise Kiss, love the art and color of the anime including the OP music "Lonely in Gorgeous".
