There's only two anime titles in that list that interest me, Maburaho and Fantastic Children. I already own Escaflowne and have for years. The rest is crap. Why do they even bother liscensing this garbage? Panda-Z? WTF?

The manga list is better... Furaba, Karin, Tsubasa, Oh My Goddess, Sensual Phrase, Nodame Cantabile and Genshiken.

Btw: Someone please make that Escaflowne in the anime section and remove the second RG Veda from the manga. :D

Yubisaki Milk Tea vol.1 and Genshiken vol.5 are the only 2 from that list that I want to get right now. I also want the Love Hina vol.1 novel which comes out with theses releases but doen't seem to be up there.

And I thought they came out on 4-11, today, not tomorrow.

Hm, most of those manga releases have been in my local bookstores for a couple of weeks now. For example, I bought Shout Out Loud at the end of March, and I bought X-Kai- and Fruits Basket at the beginning of the month. I've seen several other titles in this list as well. A list of titles that are coming out in two weeks might be more useful if the purpose of the thread is to help us keep our eyes open for something.

Yeah, usually it’s tomorrow, but most of the time book stores are usually late with their shipping. I actually heard it was coming out on Wednesday. Regardless, it’s coming out this week and I’m planning on getting the two mangas you mentioned as well. ^-^

Well, that’s actually a good idea. I could be posting up what’s coming out in 2 weeks or something. I don’t know. If people want me to post things that are coming out in 2 weeks instead of things that are coming out on the current week; I could very well change it. No harm done. ^-^ So, yeah if you guys want I can post up the list of titles that are coming out in two weeks instead.

Well, my choice is probably obvious (seein' as how I made the suggestion LOL) but I'll make my preference official. I would find a list that's a couple weeks in the future more useful than a list of this week's releases.

No worries Kaoru. There's always an anime / manga being released weekly. I double check it every time. I won't be posting up next weeks releases until the beginning of next week which is on Monday April 17th.

EDIT: Oh and not to go off topic.

I'm planning on getting Claymore Vol. 1. >.< That is if Vol. 2 is worth getting.

They also delaid Genshiken Vol. 5 here too. But it's suppose to come out this week. Probably it has to do with the book store (or other stores you go too), sometimes doesn't get the shipping in on time.

Ok! A new update for April 24th 2006!

Now I know some people are going like, “What? Today isn’t April 24th!” And I know it isn’t! Apparently someone suggested listing the products (whether it’s DVD’s and mangas’) that will be released two weeks from now (including this week). Wait. Eh. Screw it! I’m just going to list the week after the current week. Eh! Confusing me! Besides, not a lot of stuff is coming out this week anyways. Just some Inuyasha Manga, some Gatchaman and that’s all! Ok! Moving on! Let’s see what’s coming out on the week of the 24th!

As for where I get this information. It's mostly a variety of sites, the DVD's I get it from Best Buy sometimes, and other times I get it from other anime websites that turn out reliable. If you REALLY want to know just PM me. I mean, if everyone would know where I get this from then there would be no use for this. ^_^ Yeah I suck!

Now as for what I'm getting.

Possibly Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children. I mean I have the import but I still would like the U.S. Version. See how they dubbed it. I WAS planning on getting Eureka 7 DVD with the kick ass art box and all those extras with it, but since Adult Swim is airing it now, I guess I would just watch it on there instead.

I probably won't get Desert Punk Vol. 2 since I just got Vol. 1 today. Giving myself time. That's it for the Anime DVD's.

The only 2 mangas I'm looking forward to as of now is Eureka 7 Vol. 1 and Neon Genesis Evangelion: Angelic Days. I just want to see what the difference between the anime and manga are for Eureka 7 and I want to check out Angelic Days because... well I heard it isn't really about the confusing mecha stuff, instead it's about the romance. Aww! I'm a sucker for romance! Yosh!

I'm renting Kyo Kara Maoh through Netflix so it'll be a while before the queue gets around to letting me see this one. But it's good to know it's coming out soon.

Ouran and Get Backers are tops of my Gotta Get list. I think (hope!) that the cards arc starts in GB 14. I've been looking forward to reading that story arc for over a year now.

Volume 5 of the Bebop remixes? Man, I need to get cracking on that series. I only have volume 1 so far. I really want to get them all.

I'll be sad to read the end of Descendants of Darkness. I know that the manga doesn't really end as much as it simply stops. The big-picture story isn't finished. The mangaka stopped doing the series for reasons that I've forgotten. I've heard that she might be starting up again in the latter part of this year, but nothing's definite yet. I hope she does pick up the series again. There are still a lot of unanswered questions.

I'm so happy that Tactics is coming out on DVD. That's a series I plan on picking up in its entirety. (I'd be even happier if ADV would release the remaining volumes of the manga. But that's another story. :( )

The Ghost Hunt --- Major love for this series. :D It's odd. I never remember to mention it whenever I list my favorite manga. But it's one of my top favorite series. Each volume has drawn me in more and more. I've been waiting anxiously for volume 4. I hope Del Ray and my bookstores follow their habit of putting this one on the shelves prior to official release date because I don't want to wait until the end of the month to get it.

As for Trinity Blood; Vol. 1 of the manga will be released on November 11th, 2006. It seems that there are going to be a total of 6 volumes to the Trinity Blood manga series.

Now if you or your friend are by any chance interested on the anime series, then I'll also supply you with the release dates on that as well.

Trinity Blood Vol. 1 (of 6) will be released on September 5th, 2006.

The DVD consists of 4 episodes, with some DVD Features such as; Director Interview, Cast Auditions, Cultural & Historical Facts, and Concept Art.

The Limited Edition DVD includes Tarot Cards and a 24-page booklet featuring show and character information and additional art.

Well, all I know is that Dark Horse has recently licensed Dame Dame Saito Nikki and Satsuma Gishiden. They have not announced any new releases for next year, HOWEVER, if you're looking for a specific manga release by Dark Horse... let me know and I'll look for it.

I don't know why it's taken me this long to recognize that fact. But I never noticed it before until I looked closely at TP's 6 month release schedule and saw the pattern. If you haven't seen Chance Pop Sessions, I highly recomemend it if you like stories like Happy Lesson and Kaliedo Star. It's a very family oriented story that is still interesting enough to keep interesting for the older folks looking for a good storyline too. Hell, I'm a guy and I bought it. Especially since the thinpacks are considerably cheaper than buying them single.

Not much for my list. My wallet will be happy.

And wow, I can't believe there's only 2 mangas going to be released this upcoming week. Weird!
I've noticed that Tokyopop (definitely) and Viz (probably) like to release books in the first half of the month. If you look at TP's 6 month release schedule that's posted somewhere on the site, you'll see that their releases each month stop around the middle of the month. Viz seems to follow the same pattern. I don't know about the other publishers. Their releases seem more irregular. Or I don't follow enough of their catalog for me to discern a pattern. Not to mention that some companies are really bad about meeting their release dates. (I'll bet that DMP's Dear Myself won't arrive the week of August 21st. DMP seldom meets its release dates.) I don't know why the first half of the month is a more popular release time than the second half. But that seems to be the pattern.

I already have 2 of the 4 new releases in my collection. Beauty Pop & Ouran are out in the stores around here. My guess is that La Esperanca probably won't show up until the middle of the month at the earliest, based on DMP's prior distribution history. *sigh* As for Pieces of a Spiral ... this title is my most challenging title to find of all the manga I'm following. Only one little independent comic shop carries it in my area. I think I'll ask the store owner to set it aside for me when it comes in. Otherwise I might miss it completely.

It is indeed starting up on Adult Swim. THIS week too. You can also catch the uber popular Bleach anime as well. I'm definitely checking out both animes! ^_^

Ok! Time for a new update! Um... although 9/11 is a sad memorial day, I have to say that this week will be the week that I'll spend most of my money in!
