Blanket creativity thread.

I don't draw very well so I don't do manga. But I do write stories and since this is the closest to a "creative endeavors" forum that we have, and I don't want to put this in general cause that's just a spam-pit.

I've been writing this story about a girl who lives in Tokyo for over a year now. It has taken form as a journal, similar to the "novel" One hundred strokes of the Brush or perhaps Bridget Jones' Diary, and I just figured out how to swing into the main plot. Accomplishment! V!

I just wanted to say that out loud to someone. Anyone. :D

I must say very nice Idea to start this little thread for those of us not gifted with the ability to draw. I started a website just recently that hosts my writing and blog http://spasticmouse.com. I also posted a link on that to the main forum space as well.

Hopefully at some point in time this little thread may grow into its own board for writers! We seem to be a little rare in this anime world.

Since what I write often times includes mature themes, I'm not going to post a link to it openly, but if anyone would like to read my... um... stuff, please feel free to PM me. A lot of it is hidden away in friends only posts on Live Journal though. But I guess I could link to Kay, if you're willing to deal with my crazy other self. :D

Then again, I don't think anyone is really that interested in reading my fanfic. Who would want to read a post-Paradise Kiss, post-Card Captor Sakura, Tomoyo-centric fanfic anyways?

Here's a story idea I had, like a YEAR ago, and never did anything with. If anyone wants to steal it, it would be awesome. Basically, it's the story of a man with a strange tattoo. It's a complicated, intricate design full of archaic symbols. By cutting into his skin through these symbols, he can travel through time. And there's stuff like temporary amnesia, and a shadowy enemy, and random nudity, and so on. I never did really flesh out this idea because I have an odd suspicion I stole this whole idea from somewhere else -- I mean, not consciously, but this just isn't the sort of thing I usually write... way too weird... Where did it COME from???? O.o
