First things first... I suck at CGing... and I hate it... I also am very very very beginerish with colouring on the computer. (I know how to do hardly ANYTHING in photoshop) Well I've CGed before but never really liked much of my results unless it was in cell style colouring, but I don't really like using cell style for anything but fanart =/
now with that aside...
An original character from a story novel that I wrote. I am trying to get pictures of all the characters done and she just happened to be the first.
I made her eyes and hair brown as to give her a very plane appearance when it came to her genes. She is basicly the wife of a nobelman who bought a girl off the streets to train and shape to be his beautiful wife. The woman though is very unfathfull towards him and is always looking for other men to occupy herself with. (hence the... very little clothing) He dosn't mind though as long as she plays her role as his wife when expected.
I finished colouring her so now all that's left it to create a decent background for her, but I am tired and really don't want to stare at photoshop anylonger. I absolutly HATE cging and I can't stand another minuet of working on this picture x.x
It didn't turn out as good as I had hoped it would, but that would probibly be because near the end I was rushing to just freaken get this picture over with and done so I could start doing something else.
Picking the colours was also a task =x although these colours where the ones I chose originally I still decided to go through a billion colour combinations to make sure that this was the one that I wanted. The jewel in her necklace I might change to another colour. Although the pink jewel is cute it blends in to much with the skin I think. I'm not sure what colour I would make it though =x
3 days to CG this picture... not only am I slow at CGing but I get distracted easily. I must have spent a good hour playing with the hue of her hair because I was bored of cging and for some reason it was amusing me... I don't know why... I get distracted easily... exspecialy when doing things that I don't like or find boring.
Easiest thing to CG = the boobes... I don't know why but I got them perfect on the first try.
Hardest thing to CG = the hair without a doubt... it looked like complete crap for the longest time and the strength in the colour of the hair kept chaning on me because of all the highlights and shadding I was adding
Fav thing about the picture = for some reason... I really like the way the flower in her hair turned out, as well at the texture for the leather straps.
Annoying pev with the picture = for some reason everytime I tried to draw the hand bigger it wouldn't work out, so her hand is about 1/3 smaller then it should be >< also I wish my arm wasn't so shaky cause my lineart sucks ass completely. I really wish I could have inked the charms on her arm better and the necklace... they looked so much nicer in the drawing BEFORE it was inked ><
