The trailer for Silent Hill looks promising but I don't know cause I have been burned in the past,i.e resident evil. Is anyone excited about this movie?

it looks like it's going to be the best one yet, but that's not saying much. there's a whole bunch of stuff in the trailer that's already pissing fans off.

i have heard a bunch of complaints about the little girl in the trailers with the scary ominous voice [which has become a horror movie cliche,] and i think alot of people are worried about the large number of people in the film. a key part of silent hill's atmosphere was that the town was completely deserted and kind of isolated from the 'real world,' and i think people are afraid that the film might be hurt by devoting too much screen time to the 'real world.'

i still have my hopes up though, it looks like the filmmakers got alot more things right than they did wrong.
