ai yazawa is great, even the caracter design for princess ai (which i don't like) was great.:D even her older series when she hadn't developed her style as much (like tanshi nanka janai) were pretty good.
and i love the fact that in japan her drowings of clothes for parakiss have actually been ''produced'' IRL!!!! I think she has a ''classy'' style and it's soooo cool! :p

Another manga-ka I enjoy for her character designs. They're unique and enjoyable to look at as I read, though I admit I've only read Nana and ParaKiss. Saw the live action adaptation of Kagen no Tsuki, though. It wasn't so great, but it wasn't horrible.

I love her. Though I've only read Paradise Kiss and Nana (thank you Shojo Beat), I think she's great. Though I'm not quite happy with Paradise Kiss' ending. Yazawa's art style is different and I think it's neat, but some people I know don't like her style.

I really enjoy Tenshi Nanka Ja Nai - one of her earlier series - you can see how her art style has progressed but still is clearly her own today. I own most of her works whether it be in English or Japanese... I think the only thing I am missing in Japanese is ParaKiss and the last fwe Nana books.... I need to pick them up

All I know is that I'm really waiting for the Nana anime! The anime character designs look a little weird, but it's easy to get used to.

I thought that Para Kiss came out after it, because it was a huge craze in Japan while Para Kiss was still being released here.
