lol i was so addicted to harvest moon when i was playing.. and i got my brother who used to say it was stupid addicted XD... it's so funny..he still plays it once in awhile but i dunt play it anymore

I have Animal Crossing: Wild World for the DS. I'm enjoying it so far, and I've had it since December. I don't play it all that often... A few minutes every other day... But I like it.

I've played both. They're really fun at first and keep you busy but after about a year of playing the game it becomes boring.

animal crossing is gr8 when u first get it (gc version), but it can be a little boring after a while - i'd imagine tht the ds version would be better; i'm going to have so many weeds when i play again :P

On-topic: I have several versions of Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing for the GC. I got bored of Animal Crossing very quickly, but play my GBA version of Harvest Moon every once in awhile.

Whenever it is that I buy myself a DS (I might hold out for my b'day in August), I'm not entirely sure I'll get Animal Crossing. It could be very, very fun, or more of the same. Hmm.

The GBA Harvest Moon took over my life... I played till I was in the 6th year (in the game) had 2 kids, a huge amount of money, all the cows and sheep and chickens I could have, all the upgrades etc. Then I lost the game and got my life back on track.

I've played both, I LOVE my Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life...but man I don't get into Animal Crossing that often...it's like I just spend all my time picking weeds when I do play.

I'm really digging the DS version of the game. :cool:
The one thing that I didn't like about the original AC for the Cube was that I couldn't take it everywhere I went.
AC on the DS remedies that issue. I can take my town with me everywhere.
And the wireless multiplayer is sweet, too. ^^

I used to play Harvest Moon for the GBC a lot, but that game gets very boring and repetitive.

What I love about Animal Crossing is that there's something new to do every day of the week.
Plus, festivals and special events every couple of months ... it's a world that's ever expanding. :D

Harvest Moon was amazing for the first year. Wooing the girls, getting stuck with Celia after being shunned repeatedly by Nami, getting my kid and dumping him at random places in town... XD

But then it got boring. I'm in the second year of the second chapter, and stopped playing it properly over a year ago. *sigh*

As for Animal Crossing... it's just boring all the way through! >_> I actually bought it twice, and traded it back twice. Much as I love Bones and Hank (roffle XD), having various cartoon animals say the same phrases to me for hours on end isn't crazy amounts of fun...

They're starting to bring the 'A.I' concept into the games now though. So they won't do repetative things and whatever.

A lot of times that's the case, but not with Animal Crossing: Wild World. The Wi-Fi feature really adds a lot to it.

I got really addicted to this game. I paid off all my debt and had only just begun hording tons of useless things just for fun on the bottom floor. I kind of cheated in the game a little, I would save and stop and change the clock to get it to be the day I wanted it to be. I got to see Halloween, Christmas, and new years all in one day lol. It was a lot easier to get music from the dog instead of literally waiting every saturday(I think, it's been a while) for him to play another song. I loved being able to create clothes for them to wear too.

Oh, yes! I used to play Harvest Moon, addictive! Couldn't put the control down... And the characters were so cute! The cow and horse especially... chickens too! XD

I've never played animal crossing though, looks cute too!

I just bought Animal Crossings for the DS and I am already addicted, and so is my boyfriend. It is cute, and you can do tons of useless stuf, I haven't visited anybody yet, because we have some problems with the wifi connection in our house.

I bought Animal Crossing for DS last friday (31st of March) on its UK release date. It was cheap from toys r'us so I bought it there and they gave me a bunch of free pink junk for my DS, its embarissing when your male but I'm determined to get the most out of it, it was free you see.

I've now got a DS with a pink carry strap and pink bordered upper screen with a screen protector on... sigh.

Oh! No you need a wireless network adapter / connection so you can go online in your DS. Well, hm, I'm not entirely sure but thats what I use anyways. Just try it out and see if you have a wifi connection.
