Yep. :D I believe, my brother got me into this while he was into hard classical rock (he still is but not as much anymore.)
Favorite song is Bohemian Rhapsody but... Man oh man, the music video for "We Will Rock You" was so awesome! >_< & freaking hilarious

i am of the opinion that bohemian rhapsody is the greatest rock song ever written.

I don't suppose anyone knows any eariler stuff like March of the Black Queen, White Queen, My Fairy King and their Japanese one Teo Torriatte (Let Us Cling Together)
Yes Freddie Mercury sings in Japanese, not very well but he does!
I suppose its like Klaha trying to sing in English on Beast of Vlood opps I mean Blood but only better.

You mean he did, even? Considering he's been dead for the last decade.

Heck yeah! I love Queen. Freddie Mercury has one of the greatest voices in rock'n'roll history, and they were all fabulous. DID YOU KNOW...that Queen is one of the few acts all of whose members had a hit? Freddie had "Bohemian Rhapsody", the guitarist had "Killer Queen", the bassist had "Another One Bites the Dust", and the drummer had "We Will Rock You".
Favourite "deep cut": "The Prophet Song"

In Cromartie HIgh School there's a character named Freddie and he looks just like the Freddie from Queen which no coincedence. Funny anime by the way

We will rock you was written by brian May...Oh. I was just regurgitating...I mean, reiterating something I heard on the radio once, never actually double-checked the facts. Maybe it wasn't written, so much as heavily associated with (I don't know about you, but I definitely associate that song with the drums).

I'm a Queen fan. My mom is a really big Queen fan. Got into them through the music from the movies they did. Favorite song is Bohemian Rhapsody; when I was in jazz choir, we actually sang it for graduation, but had to change some of the words. Who Wants to Live Forever (Highlander) is really nice, but sad. My little sister did a ice skating program to Another One Bites the Dust.

No one will ever have a voice like Freddie Mercury. He was taken away from us too soon!

Good call on "The Show Must Go On" -- extremely touching considering its timing (he already knew he was sick and dying at that point).

My fav band, ever since I was like 10. My favorite songs include White Queen and the Fairy Fellers masterstroke. An the solo album Freddie did with Monserrat Cabbale, Barcelona, there is this song, La japonaise that is partly sung in japanese as well. I am no judge to pronunciation, but I really like it.
I own all Queen albums on cd, now I started collecting them on vinyl.

Queen are ok, they've made a few cool songs, never got why they are so hyped up, they're not just a bit overrated imho :)

I guess you don't get it. Have you ever seen a live show? Try one and you will find out.

See, that does not help, but the concerts are out there on dvd... or video, and if you look hard enough you will find them on the internet..
I have only ever seen them on film as well, Freddie Mercury died when I was 10 years old, and that's a bit too young to go to a rockconcert...

And they did a tour last year with a different singer that went quite well.
