04-07-2006, 04:38 AM
Did someone call the Phantom of the Opera ;)
I see there's nothing wrong with it, its prefectly fine. A friend of mine Sam believes if there was to be a Japanese Phantom it would have to be Klaha.
Although for me my guilty pleasure (if you could call it that ^^") is Culture Club.

The world may never know.
I love too many singles from various crap albums to state them all here but...
I love LOVE 'I'm too sexy' by Right Said Fred. It's on my ipod, my laptop, and I listen to it constantly. I downlaoded an AMV of that song. The idea of the hot male model strutting around just cracks me up. If only he were real...
Oh, and I love Andrea Bocelli too. That's nothing to be ashamed of!!

I don't believe in "musical guility pleasures" if you take pleasure in listening to it then you should listen to it, if anyone comments on it they're just showing off their own ignorance. Personally, there are a few artists I like that most people have a poor understanding for me liking, but I sill don't feel guilty for listening to it :)

Its not really guilt.. more like shame and embarrasment, something you wouldn't want others to know you like. If you don't feel guilty more power to you!

umm it was the moffatts (remember them? lets see now one tried out for canadian idol, and couldn't get past the first round of call in votes, the identical ones tried another band, dunno if it got past the first single though, and the oldest, fell off the face of the planet from what i know) but if they came out with another cd, i'd buy it.
otherwise, i have the legend of zelda theme songs, gundam wing opening and closeing themes, inuyasha themes, and a bunch of other anime and video game tunes on my i-pod.
Guilty Pleasure. Um. Spice Girls. V_V

I'm going to mention that there's a 97% chance that you're listening to Electronica, not techno. Techno is one of the smallest branches of Electronica music, and Electronica music just happens to be where just about all my favorite bands land under.
I don't really have any guilty pleasures for music, I'm not shamed of anything I listen to.

Japanese Digimon songs. Each character sings multiple theme songs, usually characterizing some aspect of their personality relating to their feelings and coming-of-age obstacles...Much more relevant than you'd think. And they're catchy; not bad compositions really. I can even understand many of the lyrics now that I'm studying Japanese. But I used to listen to them years ago when I didn't really know Japanese. And...I still really enjoy listening to them from time to time. >.>;; No one would understand though, if they saw "Digimon" on my iPod. I should convert all the name files to Japanese script. XD
