Anime Central 2006!!!!

Anime Central is coming May 5-7!! To register, go to www.acen.org There is still time to pre-register! If you are going, please post here! I really wanna meet people who are going! I'll post a couple of pictures of me from previous years and maybe some of you may have seen me around!! Oh yeah, it's in Rosemont, IL for those who don't know of it.

I'm planning on going. ^_^

I'll either be going as Komugi from Nurse Witch Komugi, or Rosette from Chrno Crusade (Chrono Crusade). After all, Greg Ayres is gonna be there (he's the english voice actor for Chrno of Chrono Crusade)

I was gonna be Rosette, but I'm gonna be Eliza from Shaman King, maybe Yuu from Comic Party. I was going to also be someone else, but I totally forgot who x.x Some cosplayer I am x3

What I do is look at the list of manga that have ninja girls and pick something that you like and that looks like something you could make. -^^- That's what I do, that's if I don't have an idea.

I'll be attending ACen again this year, and I'll be bringing a bunch of friends with me. ^_^

I'm not sure who I'll cosplay, though. I'm leaning towards Kairi's pink outfit and school uniform (Kingdom Hearts II), and Yukino Miyazawa (Kare Kano). Our cosplay troupe is also debating on a medium-sized Naruto group, so I may also pull together Temari, Sakura, or Ino (all of which I've started, but have yet to finish).

Anyways, I hope to see at least some of you there!

We should all post pictures of ourselves close to the covention so we could actually recognize people. that would be awesome!

I'm going. I'm not really cosplaying as anyone, but I've been thinking about doing a Cthulhu theme. Make my hair look like tentacles, and put little dragon wings on my hat. Cthulhu eats my brain! ^vv^

Gosh, my friend and I REALLY wanted to go to this con because we're right in the area, but we're both completely broke. -_- We're planning on going next year though, once we have jobs and can actually pay to cosplay and get tickets. ^_^

No cosplay for me though, too short notice I think... I will, however, be being a creepy stalker and taking pictures of everything. ("Ooo, look, florescent lights!") My best friend can't come so I'll shower her in pictures. :D Maybe I'll run into one of you guys there, you never know!

Tell me about it...I JUST found out my finals schedule, and I can't get there until Friday night, but at least I can go!! :)

I'll be at Acen, but not to cosplay. I'm gonna be pushing my manga to different publishers. That is how I will justify myself. Thank god art students don't have big finals!
EDIT: Due to the financial nightmare that engulfs my life, I will not be attending A-Cen.*sobs*

Comic burn: I don't know what art college you go to but at KCAI we had normal classes. As I recall both art schools in illinois require 3 regular classes that include either one writing one philosophy and one art history. SO IF YOU DO GO TO ART SCHOOL THEN YOU DO HAVE FINALZ! LAWLZ. I wonder why there wouldn't be finals in those classes.......unless you just have to write essays. Or else you only have to take a few tests and none of them count as finals? maybe? meh. Oh well.

I do have some small tests and stuff but nothin large (or cosidered to be a final). My "finals" are all art critiques.:) so yea technically I have them but all i'll be doing is discussing my paintings, drawings, ect.

We'll be promoting our TokyoPop published six volume series ShutterBox (currently working on vol 4 now) & our personal book project Ranklechick & His Three-Legged Cat as well as our past manga projects like Super Information Hijinks:Reality Check!, SushiGirl and Robotech:Clone.

Kansas City would be the worst possible place to hold a convention. We would all get there, get mugged, raped and then killed. Either side of it (the mo. side or the Ka. Side). I lived there for a year and it sucked. Their highways are impossible to navigate without some sort of retarded jet pack and the people are NOT FRIENDLY ON THE ROAD. The drivers in kansas city are just about as bad as the drivers in Iowa.

BTW Miyavi was not at anime central. I don't know who told you that but it was a god damn lie.

I was in the game room nearly the entire time playing ITG, pump it up and most importantly pop'n music. I was playing pop'n forever. I'm not THAT good but I can hold my own. I met a lot of people from bemanistyle who I already knew but hadn't ever met before. :/ anyway. I didn't see any of you there. Not that I'd recognize any of you.
I bought a keroro gunso wallet with gororo on it and a PoT keychain with Chibi Ryoma on it.
