I kinda wish that they'd turn Harry Potter into a 12 or 13 episode OVA series, but then again, that might be over-doing the Harry Potter stuff.

Snape and Gilderoy in anime style... Mmm...

i love sirius black!!! he will live forever!!!!!
they always cut so much out. like peeves, it would have been very interesting to have seen him on screen.

The fourth one's graphics were wicked!
The first two were close to the book, but they were kind of boring. lol

The third and fourth were goood ^__^

I absolutely loved the fourth even though they cut out a lot.

man harry potter is awesome. with the magic and the monsters, its cool. wooot. i've read all the book and seen all the movie so far. can't wait for the final book and the the 5th movie and so forth. i have to say, the cg in the 4th movie was pretty great. not to mention, emma watson is hot. woot.

I really disliked the 4th movie because all of the good stuff from the book were cut

Jacku

It doesn't help that JK Rowling keeps making the books even longer and therefore the film makers have to cut out more stuff just so the movie won't last over 4 hours.
Sheeeesh.

There's a simple solution, you know: Don't make films.

Mitzuki
04-10-2006, 12:18 PM
How weird it might seem XD i have to agree with aratos on this. They could just leave the books in there value and dont make movies. Also i would have given up the start of the movie to see the End tornement as its written in the book

I liked the fourth movie a lot; I thought they did the best they could. The thrid movie was so bad...but I liked the fourth.

hehe if you can imagine that...imagine them chibi!
i hated the forth movie they cut out important things that will be needed in reference for future movies
like rita skeeter for example isnt she helpfull in one of the latter books when hermione blackmales her w/that little fact ure supposed to know in movie 4
This is why i want to be a director...no more cutting out of important parts!*over come with movie-making passion*

I seriously hope they don't make a movie for the 6th book. If they did.. omg. =___=

I hated that book.

dude their gonna make movies on ALL the books in that series

Aratos
04-12-2006, 01:23 PM
What a depressing thought. They'll destroy the series. Not that it hasn't alreayd been butchered. The later books read too much like they were written with the film in mind.
Now where did I put my collection of spoiler gifs...

The books are good, but I really didn't care for the movies.

lorddragonmaster

hollywood has ruined meny books in the past. for example look at "The Lord of the Rings" the stores were athentic, then they make an animated movie of it (wich was shown over meny hours on tv.(can't remember what station) it was good they did not cut out anything from the story:D . then they make a live action film of it and they get rid of major parts of the story. i will be extremly sad if hollywood desides to make the "Ender's" sega in to a movie:( . the only story that i'm happy to see on film is Star Wars, now that i think of it episode IV did come out befor the books:o

Harry Potter is okay, I haven't read the books, but I've seen all the movies. I really didn't like the last one very much. It left me with a lot of questions.

That's why you should read the books.

Aratos

Yes always read the books. It means you don't have to worry about the films being spoiled when someone posts one of the brilliant "sirius dies" or "dumbledore dies" images in a random spot. Always a bit of a bummer.
Of course seeing as they litter newspaper headlines anywayy, I suppose that's not something msot people have to worry about.
