Okay I'm hella bored and refuse to sleep. So here is the query I pose to you. Who are your favorite manga/anime girls? Kanako from Love Hina is my absolute favorite. I have a thing for the creepy goth incest girls. (If I was Keitaro I so would have gone for it.) Robot girls are good too (Ping from Megatokyo or Rompponmatsu from Excel Saga.)

This is difficult because it's late and I'm tired, I'm not good with names, and there's a difference between "I really enjoy her" and "I like her enough to list her".

For example - Tahome from Fruits Basket is a doll - and within the context of Furiba, I love her. But she's not one of those sorts of characters I can like on her own.

She's essentially a white mage who can still beat the crap out of baddies. It's hard to explain any of her story without spoilers, but her past is certainly unusual.

Oh, and she's cute as a friggin' button.

Julia from Hana Kimi, I love her personality. So strong and straightforward.
Mika from Gravitation, gorgeous manipulative and will smack you around if you piss her off.
Uo from Fruits Basket,she may have a few rough edges and wasn't the best person when she was younger she is still a good person.

Hanajima- Furuba. Gotta love a girl who can freak out people by just looking at them. :p

Sakura- Tsubasa, CC Sakura. She's so sweet but still spunky. She's also makes up one of the best shows from my childhood. (Okay so I'm a dork...)

Haruhi- Ouran High School Host Club. It takes a special person to be able to put up with Tamaki and the twins...

Shampoo- Ranma 1/2. Gotta have some appreciation for the psychotic Chinese girl. She's... interesting...

Chiaki - from Demon Ororon. She was the most powerful character in the book and had to deal with the realization. She actually seemed like a real person as opposed to a stereotype.

Rukia Kuchiki - from Bleach. I thought she was a BAMF right up until she got taken back to the soul society. She just kinda faded away in favor of Ichigo's rescue mission.

Not that I am a "feminist" or anything, but I hate the stereotypical "Someone save me!" kind of girl.

Thats why I would have to say my fave girl character... would Be Chiyo-chan from Azumanga Daioh.

I like Mimi Tachikawa from Digimon. She's such an innocent and ditzy little girl that it's actually endearing. She has an inner-strength though. I usually don't like characters like her, but I'll make an exception, just this once. ;)

Manga - Kei from Akira is an incredible character, but Maho from BECK takes the cake.

Anime - Faye Valentine is a great central character, so is Casca from Berserk. However I think that Saya from Blood is pretty tough.
